Took only a few hours (which is a HUGE improvement over my last car-buying experience), and with the help of the Finance Manager, and Tyan, I was able to leave in a brand new car :D Notes: No Sketchy sales people Didn't have to spend all day in the dealership The manager worked with me to accommodate my situation. Ryan (and Jamal) was [were] VERY helpful and thankfully has a great sense of humor, and put up with the terrible star wars jokes during the whole time. It was in this “I’d rather be at the dentist” mindset that we first met Jamal. In retrospect, I’m amazed how well he handled our interaction. He realized my sour mood was simply dread of the car buying experience. He was professional, sympathetic, and really listened to our requirements. He focused on helping us find the right vehicle for us vs. selling us what was right for him. We found Jamal to be incredibly knowledgeable and willing to answer all of our questions as many times as we needed him to. He took the time to explain the pros and cons (if any) of the various vehicles on the lot that day, and also assured us he could help find a vehicle from another location if need be. What started as such a negative in my mind became a very positive buying experience. We were very pleased with our purchase. We spoke so highly of Jamal, a family friend also purchased a vehicle from him. Well after our first experience, I did not think it could get any better, but Jamal has far and away amazed us again. It is very refreshing to have a sales person focus so intently on what are the paramount concerns and needs of the client. Jamal again listened to what we needed and wanted then helped us identify the perfect vehicle and deal. This time I came in looking forward to his knowledge, help and professional, easy going manner. We discussed at length the potential differences of purchasing another used vehicle vs. purchasing a new one. Jamal has wonderful customer service skills and is extremely attentive during your time with him. So much so, that he actually remembered things about our preferences from our first purchase. Your time with him is more like visiting a favorite family member and then subsequently buying a vehicle from them. In short order we were able to identify and purchase our beautiful new Sorento. (How often do you hear that?) I would not hesitate to refer others to Jamal with absolute confidence of them receiving fair and first-class treatment.
