We wanted a quote on trading in our Ford Escape, which was in really good condition with very low miles. Jamal Allen gave us a great trade-in offer, and he gave us a number of scenarios on leasing vs. purchasing. We then went to Carmax to get a written estimate -- it was close, but below Laurel Kia. A few days later we went to the other Kia dealer (in Gaithersburg, Md.), where my son was going. They were horrible, offered 30% lower than Laurel Kia, and basically made it clear they didn't want our business. I wish my son had walked away and come back to see Jamal at Laurel Kia. We went back to Jamal at 4:45 pm on Saturday, and they closed at 5. Jamal stayed late and we had a "0" "0" "0" lease deal in less than one hour. He got our beautiful Remington Red Sorento in just one day. All the paperwork was ready when we picked up the car, and Jamal explained it completely. After pick up we went back for one last thing, and he walked through their parking lot with us to find our Escape -- we'd left an expensive pair of sunglasses in the car.
