Good morning Ms. LI , I wanted to take a moment to address your concerns over the outcome of your warranty request to repair your engine. The process we follow, as an Infiniti dealership, is to present the facts to Infiniti corporate to get approval for warranty repairs. Based upon the facts presented to Infiniti , Infiniti declined your engine replacement due to lack of maintenance. We cannot approve any warranty repair and this decision is from Infiniti corporation . Your vehicle is currently 32k miles and the sludge inside has clogged all the oil passages causing bearing damage . Once again we do not make that decision to approve or declined, its all based upon the information presented to infiniti . We did offer you some assistance on the engine replacement in the amount of $ 3,000.00 towards the replacement of long block thru Infiniti . I have photos of the sludge build up if you would like to see them , please feel free to contact me at 7418-646-3335, if you have any questions or would like to proceed with the goodwill offer of $ 3,000.00 towards the replacement engine, Thanks, Stephan Soto , Service Director , Kings Infiniti
