The finance manager was not clear enough on extra things like the prices of protection plans that were added on the vehicle, final price was way higher than expected, once in the finance office, the finance like the prices of protection plans that were added on the vehicle, final price was way higher than expected, once in the finance office, the finance manager just marked the places to sign in a very fast paced manner, and because of that, I felt pressured to just sign and not really read anything in the fine print , i felt ripped off and taken advantage of. My husband and I took a lot of time researching a particular vehicle, and knew about how much we wanted to spend and how much we could spend. We picked out a vehicle that’s price should have matched particular vehicle, and knew about how much we wanted to spend and how much we could spend. We picked out a vehicle that’s price should have matched our expectations but the “deals” that came back to us from the Manager were no where in our ballpark. We discussed before we even took a test drive what our intentions were, and what payments we would be willing to make. Then after all of the work for our sales person (Who was wonderful) and our time invested, the Manager wouldn’t budge on his side at all unless we were willing to drop thousands of dollars on a lease, and even after that it still wasn’t “enough” from our side. The numbers we were given didn’t even make sense compared to other vehicles we have been researching. While we understand the need for profit, I also understand that there could have very well been a happy medium where the dealership makes money and the customer is happy. The manager also made unnecessary comments such as “If the car isn’t worth it then you must not want it”, when in fact we were interested in putting money down and buying today. His tactics were apparent, and we will continue our search elsewhere. More
