I have recently purchased 2013 Elantra from the Long Island City Hyundai and had a very good experience with the dealership. Manny Castillo assisted me throughout the whole process, answered all of my questions and extended exceptional customer service. He is very professional, patient and no-pressure kind of a sales person, he will fight to get you the best deal possible. Thanks Manny, I love my new car! I will highly recommend you. More
Our quest for a new car took us to 2 Jacob Javitt's Auto Shows, time spent surfing on the internet and getting truecar.com pricing, contacting and speaking with 6 car dealers and visiting 2 local Hyund Auto Shows, time spent surfing on the internet and getting truecar.com pricing, contacting and speaking with 6 car dealers and visiting 2 local Hyundai dealers. (My wife and I are retired and so this was a fun project.) After deciding the Genesis was the car we wanted I spoke with each dealer telling them what I wanted was an out-of-the-showroom price including everything that goes into making up the price: the car, any required paperwork cost, taxes, financing costs, company special offers, and our trade-in. I also informed them that we would be visiting other dealers. The first dealer could not seem to get their minds around that. Their sales approach was designed to control by confusing and separating and wanting to negotiate the car price, the financing, the trade in and were not willing to give us a total price without discussion about each of these items. We were very dissatisfied and left. Next stop was Long Island City Hyundai and we met with Alain Lustig. Running late from the first dealer we called Alain and asked if we could come right over because the first Hyundai dealer kept us later than we realized. Alain said come on over although we realized he would have to stay later than his usual leaving time. When we got there he listened to how I wanted the sales meeting to go and he gave me the information the way I requested it. He also offered a very competitive price and as well as money saving suggestions about financing and about our trade-in. Another benefit to me was how well the LIC Hyundai personnel interacted and supported each other. We were also impressed with the honest responses we got to any of the questions we asked from Alain and the agency manager Mike Romano. On the way home we decided that this was the dealership we wanted to buy our car from and made arrangements to close the deal the next day. We are now happily riding around in our new Genesis. More

Francisco was most instrumental in helping arrange our lease and we appreciate his efforts on our behalf to secure the best deal he could. I came in to buy a new Hyundai Tuscon (SUV) and Robert Castillo was my salesman. My previous experiences with buying cars haven't been pleasurable to say the least, so I was happy with him being friendly, honest and professional and pretty much great about everything from start to finish. My situation was a bit complicated, so I did also have to speak to Mike Romano, the general manager. He was swamped, since it was the end of the month, but he was super patient and responsive. The finance manager Damien was really down to earth and cool too. I would definitely recommend working with Robert and Damien (and Mike if you need to)...the biggest reason that they were really honest and professional...I didn't feel like I was in a car dealership haha. More

I called Long Island City Hyundai/Mitsubishi looking into purchasing my first car and spoke with Alain Lustig. After meeting, talking and test driving I walked out in 3 hours with my very first car. Oscar Sanchez was the finance manager I dealt with and needless to say he was very helpful as well in getting me the price range I was looking to pay monthly. Also explaining the in's and out's of financing. Overall, 1 month later writing this review. I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this dealership. More

I felt that I was in good hands, when I heard her speak and explain the different processes involved in purchasing the car. Debbie helped to calm my nerves a great deal and helped me to see the great deal that I was getting in purchasing my new 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS. I am so glad that I took her advice and purchased the vehicle, as I am now totally in love with my new car!!! The entire staff was friendly and helpful, but I must truly say, that it was Debbie Absolam's personality and professionalism that sealed the car deal for me. Sometimes when going to purchase a new car at a dealership, there are feelings of caution, because you don't want to be "taken for a financial ride", I didn't feel that way at all with my Sales rep. I would fully recommend Long Island City Hyundai to my friends and family, but more specifically, I would recommend Debbie Absolam to be their sales rep. Excellent Job! More
