My wife and I bought our first car at LIC Hyundai last Thursday. We worked with JJ Nazario and John Parhami to get the car that we wanted. We also shopped around at Plaza Hyundai and Giuffre Hyundai. Out of all the dealers LIC Auto gave us the best deal for the car we wanted. They also were friendly and actually spoke to us like reasonable intelligent people. We did not get this type of respect from the other dealers. JJ and John really did work with us. They were tentative and respectful. LIC Hyundai never fails to go above and beyond with customer service. They go out of their way to accommodate my tight schedule for all my routine maintenance visits. The first dealership I went to was Major World, which ended up being a Major Bust. I walked out from the dealership with an extremely high interest rate and with a car that had 80 thousand miles. At first, I didn't think it was that bad of a deal because, frankly, I don't have the greatest credit score. Well, I came to find out later that there was a car fax on the vehicle, which wasn't told to me at the time of sale. In the end, I decided to go to Long Island City right after, where I was greeted by an older gentleman. The staff was very friendly and Israel was able to give me a lower interest rate !! Honestly, I was shocked. Not only was the service great, but I didn't feel like I was bamboozled into getting a car, like I was at Major World. He made me feel confident in my purchase. I have to say that the best decision I ever made was to go to Long Island City Auto. I would absolutely recommend this dealership to my whole family and to my friends. Finally, I feel like I owe Israel for having helped me. More

I first visited Roberto at LIC Hyundai at the glowing recommendation of my father-in-law. Having worked as an auto mechanic and even owned his own shop, Roberto's knowledge of his inventory was more tho recommendation of my father-in-law. Having worked as an auto mechanic and even owned his own shop, Roberto's knowledge of his inventory was more thorough than that of an ordinary salesman. After helping us narrow our search down to two versions of the Santa Fe, he eventually suggested the less expensive car. After we told him we would be moving to Toledo, Ohio, he thought it would be a good idea for us to have a 4 wheel drive to be safe in the lake effect snow that gets dumped on Lake Erie in the winter. Roberto was able to pull together his knowledge of his inventory with details about the geographical location in which we would be driving to suggest the best car for us. He was willing to forego the chance to make a few extra thousand dollars in sales to put us in the car he believed was right for us. More
