I went to Long Island City Hyundai dealership and bought a 2013 Elantra Limited and Jinny Minn was the salesperson who helped me. Jinny was professional, friendly and polite. I received 0% financing for 72 months since Hyundai had the promotion at the end of December 2013. I highly recommend Jinny if you want to purchase a car. We came here in July to purchase a used Sonata. It was agreed that the car would be sold for $13,000 plus the tax and required nys fees. The car was actually sold for $13,595 and not the $13,000 as agreed agreed that the car would be sold for $13,000 plus the tax and required nys fees. We contacted the salesman, David Rutkay, and the finance manager, Mario, several times to discus this issue but we were basically blown off. They said the $595 extra was for a dealer fee that was never disclosed to us nor was it stated in the contract paperwork. They also stated that we can't do anything for you. No one cared to return our phone calls or resolve the issue. This is by far the worst experience ever when buying a car and I have bought 3 cars before this. To top it off the car had body work done from an accident that was not disclosed to us and we had to call to setup our own satelite radio. I would never recommend this dealer for anyone. They are only kind to get the sale and forget about you when you have any issues. More

This is my first car purchase. I just walked by LIC Hyundai dealership & thought to look for a used/preowned Hyundai. In the next 20 minutes I did a test drive of Hyundai Elantra limited & Hyundai Sonata limited. This says volumes about David's commitment to his customers. Immediately after the drive I decided upon Hyundai Sonata Limited. I was impressed how David helped me decide what I needed by simply giving facts & necessary information and allowed me decide with ease. He introduced me to his manager & worked on with me towards closing the deal. The whole buying experience has been pleasant. I have been going to this dealership for about two years, and have been extremely happy with every aspect of their sales and service. This past weekend, I brought my 2012 Sonata in for routine service, and talked with David Rutkay while I was waiting for the service to be completed about possibly owning a new Sonata. I found David to be courteous, friendly and very knowledgable about Hyundai's cars, and the available deals and financial services to make ownership easy. David treated me with respect, and offered excellent customer service, all the time leaving me in control of the transaction. With strong support from his partner Oscar Sanchez, who is strong on the finance knowledge side and who also knows how to work with customers, I left the dealership with a new 2013 Sonata SE. They both made the transaction painless, and me very happy! If you are considering a Hyundai, make sure you see David and Oscar first. I can strongly and sincerely recommend them. More
