I dropped the car off at 10am for maintenance, emissions test, and to check on the tail light. The dealership dropped me off at home while I was waiting for the work to be done, and picked me up at home whe test, and to check on the tail light. The dealership dropped me off at home while I was waiting for the work to be done, and picked me up at home when the car was ready, I was back home with my car by 2pm. While I waited at home I was updated on on the progress of the work either by email or a phone call. However, I specifically came in for service 1 month early because I needed an Emissions Test Inspection to renew my license. And I actually requested it several times and Christian Gudiel confirmed it. 2 days later I was unable to renew my license online because Gudiel had the Safety Inspection done instead since he noticed that it was expiring. And that is not his decision to make: I needed that Emissions Test done and I had to bring in the car again to get it done. Maybe Gudiel overlooked the Emissions Test when he not noticed the Safety expiration or got the Emissions confused with the Safety test but that doesn't change anything. The ideal response would have been to have the Emissions done as I requested and bring the Safety expiration to my attention and I would have gratefully had the work done since he would have saved me the time of having me bring in the car again. This is the second time in a row that I have had issues with the service on my car: in November the lid was left off the oil that resulted in damage and a mess under the hood; and now this. So something in quality and attention to detail is slipping. In both cases everything was resolved free of charge and that is a plus but it's not a 5. 5 is that you met all my expectations and I expect you to do the work that I brought the car in for; if you would have called me about the Safety that would have wowed me. So when I first wrote the review before I noticed the missing Emissions Test I actually gave you 5s all the way down. When I noticed the missing Emission Test and in light of the November disappointment I dropped the scores immediately. But then the issue was resolved: the car was picked up and redelivered to my residence and the Emission Test was done free of charge. I changed the scores again to reflect the good service and good faith and now you know what you need to work on to get 5s all the way down for next time. More
I brought my car in for routine servicing. Once I dropped it off nobody in the service dept contacted me to update. My calls went unanswered (I was hung up on twice while on hold). Three hours Once I dropped it off nobody in the service dept contacted me to update. My calls went unanswered (I was hung up on twice while on hold). Three hours after I brought it in a virtual chat assistant sent a message and my service rep called to say I needed brakes, which I authorized. Another 3 hours and no updates despite the fact the car was promised to me by that time since I had a childcare issue. I had to walk to the dealership to find out the status. It was done but nobody bothered to let me know. I got a text it was ready after I had already picked it up. I had a similar experience 2 years ago and stopped going to this dealership but thought I would try again. Service hasn’t improved - I won’t be back. More
