I walked in to Koons Toyota and was immediately helped by Oscar Canales. He showed me the Prius I was looking for and had my old car estimated for its trade-in value. We negotiated for over an hour but by the end, I felt like I got a fair price for my trade-in and for my new Prius. Then, I worked with Chetan to do the finance papers. He was very thorough and explained everything several times. It was a very lengthy explaination but it helped me to understand all of the paperwork that I was signing. Both Oscar and Chetan have followed up with me about my experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend working with Oscar to buy your next Toyota. He was knowledgeable, honest, and very likeable. Last month we purchased a 2013 Toyota Avalon from the Koons Arlington Toyota dealership. We are repeat customers - this car was the second one that we had purchased from this dealership and our third To Koons Arlington Toyota dealership. We are repeat customers - this car was the second one that we had purchased from this dealership and our third Toyota Avalon. We were very happy with Ms. Chiraz Salhi, sales consultant. The purchasing experience was fantastic. Ms. Salhi was helpful in getting us the exact car we wanted at a good price. She also provided assistance to us in programming the car as we were not familiar with the newer technology in this model. Additionally, we were very pleased with the way we were treated by Warren Jacobs, Director of Fixed Operations, who went above and beyond to keep us happy after we needed a new tire and rim. More
My 1999 Mercury Mountaineer with 175,000 miles finally My 1999 Mercury Mountaineer with 175,000 miles finally tapped out on me on the way to work one day right after Thanksgiving. After sharing my wife My 1999 Mercury Mountaineer with 175,000 miles finally tapped out on me on the way to work one day right after Thanksgiving. After sharing my wife's SUV with her for about a month, we discovered that sharing one vehicle just was not working. I began to look around on the internet for another Mountaineer (why not..this one ran for 13 years) but it had to be VERY nice but VERY affordable before I would take another car payment on after only have one payment for 5 years. I found the 2007 Mercury Mountaineer that I would end up buying on Cars.COM from Koons Arlington Toyota. The low ball "WOW" price almost scared me away at first, because it was too good to be true. It was around 8:30 at night on around 21 Dec, and their website offered a chat feature. On a lark, I hit it to see if anyone was in...and the they were!! Paul started chatting with me and we made an appt for the next day..but I couldn't make it. I called Paul and told him it would be after Christmas before I got in, and he said no problem, and even pulled the Truck off to the side and let everyone know that he was working on a deal with me, so no one else tried to sell it. When I came in on 26 Dec...it was cleaned up and ready to show, and it had even been dropped another $500 to $12,499. This SUV books out high retail at $16, 200. No one else on cars.con could come even close to this price. I had my own financing from my bank, so this was the car and the price for me. There was an issue with the fold up/fold down motor being broken in on one of the 3rd row seats,"no problem, we'll fix it...we sell every car right" Paul tells me. With this price, I was able to get more than was they were asking from my bank, and pay a big chunk on my very comprehensive extend warranty that Ali offered me. I was in and out of Ali's office with an hour. Since then, the seat is not fixed as of yet, but that is a Ford back order issue..not a Koons. I have talked to Al the Used Car Manager almost daily on the status, as he looks for way to find the part faster. I had a few admin snafus on the Warranty Contract with things I wanted or had forgotten to ask for not being checked..No problem. Ali worked with the Warranty Company to get me every extra thing that I needed so that I have as close as you can possibly get to a bumper to bumper warranty for 36 mo/3 years. I plan to run the wheels off of this Mountaineer just like I did my last one. When it comes time for my wife or I to get a new SUV..this is where we are going, no question. If I have one knock at all, if if you have to call the New Dealership side for some reason..they appear to be short staffed and you get ALOT of voicemails, rather than the person you need to talk to. It took me an ENTIRE day to get someone on the phone on day. They are aware of the problem, and are looking for ways to fix it, however. The Used Lot picks up right way, but if someone you need to talk to from there, happens to be working in the New Car building that day...you could be in the black hole until they get the phone/personnel situation fixed. The price and the service overall though WAYYY out way that issue though. Go and get your "WOW" price now. **WARNING*** Don't let their low prices scare you off..They are all about volume, and COMPLETE customer satisfaction, so that you come back, and you tell ALL of your friends. Me and my mother drove down from Pennsylvania to purchase two New 2012 Toyota Prius's. After discussing the prices on the phone and seeing prices online, when we showed up, of course the price was different. two New 2012 Toyota Prius's. After discussing the prices on the phone and seeing prices online, when we showed up, of course the price was different. I expected some sort of fee for processing, which was $499. However, they slapped us with $1400 each for freight charges which were a complete surprise. After it was all said and done, the price we were given was close to $2,000 per car less than what we ended up paying. I work in sales, and more specifically, shipping. If I ship something to you, than you've got to pay for it. If you pick it up from my office, whether or not I had to pay to get it there, I pay for the shipping. These vehicles were already on the lot, I did not have them imported from another dealer for my specific purchase. Bottom line is this: Bait and switch. Additionally, the sales person did not know much about the vehicle. I had test driven a Prius one time prior to arriving at Koons Arlington Toyota and I knew more about them than he did. Not the kind of customer service you expect when you're spending $60,000. More
Wow, what an amazing experience. This past weekend I bought a new Prius from Alan Soon at Koons Toyota in Arlington. From the beginning, Alan was completely focused on one thing: making sure I had a pos bought a new Prius from Alan Soon at Koons Toyota in Arlington. From the beginning, Alan was completely focused on one thing: making sure I had a positive experience at his dealership - whether I bought a car from him or not. He educated me about my choices with Toyota, and even encouraged me to test drive the competition. And the most important thing Alan did was to make sure I took all the time I needed to make a decision - it took me 3 days. As I sit here typing this, I have a huge sense of peace, knowing that the 2012 Prius I bought is the right car for me. Thank you, Alan "No Pressure" Soon! Finally, I should also mention that Mike Fink and Ermek Karachev were also very helpful. More

My wife and I were looking for a very specific Toyota Camry model and in searching all Toyota dealerships fairly close to where we live, we found it on the Koons website. While we thought that the vehic Camry model and in searching all Toyota dealerships fairly close to where we live, we found it on the Koons website. While we thought that the vehicle was located at Koons Tysons location (the Koons website is very misleading), where we had purchased two previous Camry's, we discovered that the vehicle was in transit to Koons Arlington location. Since we really wanted that specific vehicle, we spoke with Haythem who told us that we could come in, complete the paperwork, not put a penny down, take the car for a test drive when it arrived to their dealership (he even offered to have the car delivered to us), and to give us a loaner until the car arrived. When we arrived at Koons Arlington, Haythem turned us over to Tache, who was a very pleasant person to work with. He completed all of the necessary paperwork that he could do before turning us over to Chetan, to finalize the remainder of the paperwork. While the paperwork with Chetan took a lot longer than my wife had expected, Chetan was very thorough in taking the time to explain everything to us. I have bought many automobiles in the past and I have always looked at those dealings as a very uncomfortable situation. However, as of now, I feel that my purchase of the new Camry from Koons Arlington has definitely been the most comfortable car purchase. More
I still can't believe what a terrible experience I've had with these people. I wish they had more integrity and caution anyone in the market for a used car to steer clear of Koons Arlington. I spent $15,0 with these people. I wish they had more integrity and caution anyone in the market for a used car to steer clear of Koons Arlington. I spent $15,000 on a 2005 Subaru at Koons in March 2012. 6 months later the car is worth $8,000 AFTER spending an additional $4,000 on unanticipated repairs. Koons couldn't care less. Just to recap, that's a 53% depreciation on the original price within 6 months. Nevermind the $4k in repairs... Koons will make it very, very easy for you to purchase, but unless you buy their pricey warranty, you're totally on your own. They do NOT stand by the cars they sell. Ken Eggleston sold me a 2005 Subaru Forrester with 60,000 miles in March of 2012. The transaction took HOURS and I was so anxious to leave, we didn't get to warranty info. Mike Fink was supposed to follow up with me, but he didn't. 30 days after purchase the sunroof motor broke (a $1,500 fix.) When I went back to tell them about the sunroof, Alex Belhadi offered me a $3,500 warranty. Not thinking the TURBO WOULD FAIL 6 MONTHS LATER, I declined. FYI - Replacing a turbo on a Subaru costs $2,500. When I called Ken to tell him what happened, he said to come on by - they might be willing to buy back the car for whatever they appraised it at (significantly less than what I paid) and would gladly sell me another. He said I should buy a Toyota - THAT, they would stand by. Shameful! Subaru was mortified that a Forrester with 60k miles would have a failed turbo - They've offered me a $500 good faith credit. A final thought... I am clearly not a car person. It takes about 30 seconds of conversation for that to be clear. A knowledgeable sales person would have advised me against buying this car (or any turbo), regardless of the condition of the car. For those who are not savvy or interested in knowing alot about cars, you may wish to buy at another dealer where you'll get better attention and counsel. More
