My service provider, Earl was AMAZING! Brought my 2020 F-150 into the shop when it had only 30k miles complaining about a hard shift around 4th gear in my transmission. Was quickly told it wasn't the transmission but the larger tire I have and miles complaining about a hard shift around 4th gear in my transmission. Was quickly told it wasn't the transmission but the larger tire I have and needing it recalibrated and needed an aftermarket calibration done. Had that done and still had issues. Took it back at 70k and was told that it was now outside of Ford's warranty and the work wouldn't be covered by Ford. Even though it was brought in well inside the warranty the first go around. Was told my third party extended warranty wouldn't be honored by the shop and to take it to the deal I bought it from. So I dropped it off to the dealer who doesn't have a transmission tech and they informed me they are unable to replace the transmission because Ford put out a technical service bulletin that outlines they have a problem with the transmissions in their F-150's. Something you'd think a Ford shop would have had access to well in advance of a small town dealership. Highly displeased that Ford has issued a Technical Service Bulletin in which they note an point out potential issues with a transmission they've sold to it's customer. Further more Ford won't put out a recall to correct the issue at their expense! They'd rather let the issue persist and let their customers feel the financial pain of their mistakes. I'd love to have this resolved at Ford's expense and not mine. I dropped it off originally well inside the warranty and was never addressed properly and not I'm on the hook. This is so wrong in so many ways. More

The truck sat at Koons Ford of Baltimore for nine days and was not touched waiting for service. Then took seven days at Koons of Annapolis to be completed and the work did not fix the issues.
