Alex was accommodating, friendly and most of all not pushy. I didn't feel I was a normal dealership. We enjoyed the buying experience and would come back again for our next purchase. Alex was very friendly and knew what I needed. I had stopped at Larson Hyundai in Tacoma and was greeted by a guy who would be better off selling trucks than small cars. Having recently been in a car accident(my first one)!...I was a little nervous about the whole "car buying" experience. On my first visit to the dealership, Joe was very attentive(not the pushy car saleman was a little nervous about the whole "car buying" experience. On my first visit to the dealership, Joe was very attentive(not the pushy car saleman type) and very informative. I was immediately put at ease. Three days later, I returned and purchased my new hyundai sonata! Not only was Joe patient with me; but gave me numerous insights into my options. I definitely recommend this dealership to anyone ready to purchase a vehicle!! Definite 5 star establish!!! More
Our first visit with your sales rep. Doreen Dyer, a can do, up-beat, knowledgable Korum sales associate is the key local support factor for your Hyundai automobiles. Your product is highly rated in the ind do, up-beat, knowledgable Korum sales associate is the key local support factor for your Hyundai automobiles. Your product is highly rated in the industry so for us it came down to the individuals we would be working with to satisfy our transportation needs & desires. Doreen Dyer is the reason we bought our Hyundai from Korum Hyundai in Puyallup. We checked other dealers closer to our home, some 25 miles away, & other dealers, we found no more (CAN DO) (give us a chance) individual than Doreen -- very refreshing indeed. We have never had a more through explanation of the workings & potentials of our new car. Outstanding. Also: On Doreen's day away from the dealership Dave Baxter also assisted us and we found Dave to be very knowledgable and perceptive as well. Korum has a great team of associates to rely upon during our visits. I'd like to add that we were impressed, pleased, & appreciative of the efforts that Vern, the sales Mgr. brought to solving a major request that we had which made this deal work for us. Vern is a real (car guy) he talks that in between the lines language that is particular to individuals that are deep, deep into the love of cars with just the right profile, image, & or mystique. THANKS TEAM, WE ARE SO PLEASED! More

My wife and I were both very impressed with the no pressure sell. Steve was very helpful in helping us find the right car for us. He didn't try to get us to buy "more" than we wanted or could afford pressure sell. Steve was very helpful in helping us find the right car for us. We brought our 2 and a half year old in with us to buy a car, and the staff at Korum was so patient and helpful. They gave her a balloon and bought her a key chain! On top of that we got a killer deal on car, and the staff at Korum was so patient and helpful. They gave her a balloon and bought her a key chain! On top of that we got a killer deal on a brand new 2012 Hyundai Sonata. Once we made the decision we were out the door in less than an hour with all the paperwork complete, the car detailed, and a step-by-step orientation on the specific features of our vehicle. Thanks Korum for making it so easy and so fun to buy a car! More
This Puyallup Hyundai dealership uses deceptive practices. IN searching for a car, they could only "find" one with 800 miles and wanted to sell at "new price". Signed paperwork, then found two ot practices. IN searching for a car, they could only "find" one with 800 miles and wanted to sell at "new price". Signed paperwork, then found two other cards with NO miles at the Seattle dealership. Their explanation....they could only find this one car with 800 miles from a dealer they "could get in touch with". Of course they wouldn't think to mention there was the exact car in question at another dealer with no miles on it. When questioned why the Seattle dealership also was selling for a lesser price (without being told what the Puyallup Price was) the Puyallup dealership said it was because the Seattle dealership hadn't added the "transportation" sticker amount. When calling Seattle dealer back, they said they didn't have a "second sticker". Puyallup Hyundai REFUSED to back out of the deal and said would HAVE TO TAKE DELIVERY ON THE CAR and only offered to reduce price by almost $1000 and one free oil change which doesn't pay for a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AND LACK OF TRUST. I went in for a routine oil change, when I was leaving I noticed one of my CD cases was ziped shut and moved from it's usual location (I never zip this case). Come to find out a couple of my Cd's were missi noticed one of my CD cases was ziped shut and moved from it's usual location (I never zip this case). Come to find out a couple of my Cd's were missing. I called the dealer right away to file a complaint. I was told a rep would call me back shortly. Days went by and nothing...So, I called again , again I was told someone would contact me. Days went by again, So, I called again. This was totally unacceptable and I was not going yo let it go. This time when I called nobody would even take my call, (they ask your name when you call). I kept calling back and still nobody would talk to me about this. So I emailed the manager of the dealership, on the website it says they will respond within a couple of days....still nothing!! Amazingly HORRIBLE customer service , not to mention after a couple of times going there for service a couple of days later something else would go wrong with my car. SABATOGE !! I am sure of it... DO NOT EVER BUY OR SERVICE YOUR CARS AT ANY KORUM DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
I was talked to Rod and asked if he knew about a couple of issues I was having with my car. When I purchased my car, there was an indentation on the dash that should not have been there. He asked if I coul of issues I was having with my car. When I purchased my car, there was an indentation on the dash that should not have been there. He asked if I could come in so he could take a look. I said fine and asked what time you closed. He said that he leaves at 5:30. I would do my best to be there by 5:30. At no time did he offer to wait, or make any accommodations whatsoever. I pulled in at 5:25 and he said “You’re late.” A week later, still no call. I called and asked what the status of my car was. He was trying to look up my info and I had to spell my last name at least 3 times. At first was told my work order was closed. Then was told a couple of other things before he found the info. Then told that he had left a msg for Mitsubishi and he was waiting for a return call. So I waited again for a call back. I waited a few days and decided to stop by the dealership and talk to someone about my frustration. I spoke with the Sales Manager at the Mitsubishi lot (Mark?) and voiced my concerns. Mark suggested that I contact the Parts Mgr and voice my concerns to him. I called the Parts Mgr (Rich), and repeated the above to him. He was pleasant and listened to what I had to say. He told me that the Mfg. Rep. does not visit all the often so that may have been the problem and that he would check in to it. I said that had I been told that from the beginning I would have understood. I expressed my displeasure over Rods complete lack of communication. Rich said he would get back to me. Rod called me a couple of hours later and told me that he had spoken to the Mfg Rep and the problem with my dash was a defect and would need to be replaced. It was over a week later that I spoke to Rod again and was told that the parts were in. I made an appointment to get everything done. At this point I have owned my car for over a month. Took the car in on 7/9 as agreed. I pointed out a couple of more items that I felt were wrong with the car. While I was there I asked if a message could be left for Rich to please call me. I was told the message would be left and he would give me a call. A couple hours later I received a call from “Tracy” who said that I had a scheduled appointment at 7:30. I said yes and had dropped off my car. She (in a not very nice tone) asked where I dropped it off, and I told her. She said oh, I guess that’s why I can’t find it! At some point that afternoon I left a message for Mr. Korum and GM with the secretary requesting that either of them call me. I felt they should know what was going on. There is much more, but I'm out of room! More
