My car was totaled. I was there to look at an advertised car I experienced very high pressure sales. The price listed on CarGuras for the car was inflated on my Buyer’s Order. An additional charge of $999.99 I experienced very high pressure sales. The price listed on CarGuras for the car was inflated on my Buyer’s Order. An additional charge of $999.99 was also added along with other fees I questioned. The finance manager sent new changed forms for me to sign because she stated, “Your payment will be $3 per month less.” The new paperwork reduced the price of the GMPP warranty by $200, but $200 was added in taxes. I had the finance manager take the $2670 GMPP service warranty off the contract and write it up separately. When I returned home and later figured the taxes, I learned she charged me an 11% tax rate. I emailed her April 25th to ask that it be corrected to the 6%. She emailed me and stated that my payment had been reduced to $106.68. I again emailed her and asked for a copy showing the correction. As of early morning 3 days later, I have still not received an email with the corrected copy. More
