The entire team at Kunes Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Belvidere is exceptional. After having a negative experience with my previous dealership following the departure of a long-time contact, finding Kune Belvidere is exceptional. After having a negative experience with my previous dealership following the departure of a long-time contact, finding Kunes has been a breath of fresh air. Their customer service is unmatched, and they truly make you feel valued. My family has been incredibly impressed; in just the last 22 months, my son, my mother, and I have purchased a total of four trucks and two cars from them. We have consistently received top-tier service from Kerry, Gavin, Sean, Shane, and the entire service department. If you are looking for a dealership where you will be genuinely appreciated and well taken care of, I highly recommend visiting Kunes and working with Gavin or Kerry. I dropped my Vehicle off early in the morning at my appointment time 7:30 with Nichole , after taking a day off of work to have your wonderful certificated technicians look at they check engine light a appointment time 7:30 with Nichole , after taking a day off of work to have your wonderful certificated technicians look at they check engine light and a transmission issue. I was told they had a compatible computer to hook up for a diagnostic to find the problems with my Fiat 500L. I was going to just sit there and wait for the my car but decided to not. I asked how long it would take to be looked at they said it should be mid afternoon they would call me will be done by then. I called at 1:30 because I had not heard anything from them. They called me back at 2pm to let me know they had not even looked at it and I could bring it back in on Tuesday when they reopened, to have them look at it, since they only have 3 certified technicians who are able to work in my fiat. If you have a Scheduled appointment for your car your car should be looked at, you make sure you have the car scheduled with your xxxxing technicians for that day to be looked at. I went and picked my car up and drove it back home and will not ever set foot on a Kunes dealership in my life. I will be letting my family and friends and who ever I can tell you not deal with you. More

Casey and the Kunes team was very professional and the service was great. They were extremely good at keeping me updated on the progress whether it was good news or bad, which is very important when it is service was great. Am very disappointed with the Kunes Service Department. When I initially took my vehicle to them, and explained the problems, they immediately started talking “Tech Speak” trying to talk over my head. Th When I initially took my vehicle to them, and explained the problems, they immediately started talking “Tech Speak” trying to talk over my head. They has no idea I am an Engineer, and have almost 50 years as a Maintenance Manager and Technician in the automotive and aviation fields. When I returned their “Tech Speak” it quickly deescalated their attempt to confuse the situation (i.e. “baffle with xx”). The vehicle has only 11,000 miles on it, and is under warranty. They have no loaners available. I made an appointment to bring the vehicle in, only to be told they are “way backed up” and may not get to my car right away. Because of these things, and them thinking they had fixed it a couple times, I had to bring it back several times. They kept it over night a couple times, getting very little to nothing done the first day. They did replace a couple items, thinking they had fixed it, but to very little avail. I ended up bringing it into them half a dozen times total. Finally they tried to blame my battery for the problems. Since it was the only “Non-OEM” part in the car (I had Advance Auto replace the Mopar battery with a Die-hard AGM battery prior to deciding to bring the car into the Dealership for repair). The battery tested fine with the place I purchased it, but Kunes tried to charge me a couple hundred dollars (fully under new car warranty supposedly) claiming the battery was the problem (?!?) and outside warranty. Advance Auto was very accommodating, even though the battery tested 100%, I convinced them to give me a new one. To no surprise, the new battery changed nothing. I will say this Service Department use to be pretty good, they had a Service Manager named “Chad” back then. Apparently they lost Chad, and it appears their quality of service went with him. I ended up both going to a different Dealership Service Department in a neighboring town, and also communicating with Stellantis support through phone calls, to get a solution to the problem. Stay away from Kunes. I know I will not have anything to do with them again. More
