The above post sums up the issues I had there. NO communication which is the most important part of service writing/advising. A customer should NOT have to call 6 or more times to obtain basic information about their vehicle in for service. Also Victoria needed to be up front about being behind schedule. Please explain to me the purpose of scheduling an appointment when my vehicle wasn’t ready until 4 days after my appointment time for brakes and rotors? You should have just told me to bring it in on Saturday to have the work done. The most frustrating part is if I didn’t call Saturday I would NOT have seen my vehicle until Monday and I would have had to take work off to pick it up. All because of 0 communication from anyone. Lafontaine has certainly lost our business as well as my family’s. Why would anyone want to buy a vehicle from a place who can’t even get a basic brake job done in a timely manner. And again NO COMMUNICATION. That might have salvaged a terrible experience. The service manager made NO attempt (save a half hearted apology) to pacify my disdain. Again as stated above I feel the care factor for individuals is just not present. They rely on quantity not quality which is not how any experience should go. I’m embarrassed to say I purchased a vehicle from Lafontaine of Highland. Better luck next time.
