I filled out some information on line about trading our car in. I received a call the next morning from Mike and I almost did not answer the phone. I hate car shopping and have had bad experiences in the past at other dealerships, so I really didn't feel like dealing with it, even though we really needed a car bad. I answered the phone and was very up front with him about our situation and asked him to be up front with me as well. He asked if we wanted to come in, so we did. Three hours later, we drove home our new(used) car. It was the least painful car buying experience I have ever had. Mike was honest, he new his business, so when we asked questions, there was no deceit, just up front answers. I appreciated that and our entire experience. Misty hustled and found I qualified for an employee discount because my late father worked for GM. The other dealer didn't know of the program. This truck was $6000 less than the Ford dealer quoted me for a comparable vehicle. La Fontaine wanted to sell a truck . I don't know what the Ford guy was doing. The financing was very good as well.
