My story is one you just can't make up, short story is it took 25 days to service my vehicle. The communication updates about the vehicle was terrible and I truly believe it would have been much longer if I took 25 days to service my vehicle. The communication updates about the vehicle was terrible and I truly believe it would have been much longer if I would have not kept calling them for updates. My initial appointment was on a Monday. I inquired about my vehicle on Thursday and was told it had not yet been looked at. To see if the service manager was aware of this,I called andhe said big service jobs (it was a transmission) could take 7-10 days to look at Not to fix,TO LOOK AT. I asked him why have an appointment on Monday when your car won't be looked at for 7-10 days, he replied that's how it works. Now I think maybe they are joking. I had been doing business with this dealership for many years under the LaRiche name and maybe there was someone there that knew me and was playing a joke. No joke. I did find a sales manager Brandon, who said he would look into it and get back with me personally. He did not get back with me but when I called back a short time later the service department assured me they were going to get my car in. So I assumed Brandon had lit a fire under someone and I was very appreciative. Days went by, no word so I called again. The trans was in and it would take 5-7 days. 25 days from start to finish. Not acceptable in my book. When I picked up the vehicle it looked like it was in a Baja race, so I decided to talk to the general manager while I was there. I inquired at the front kiosk for the GM. Two gentlemen at the same time said they didn't think he was in and stared at me. At that point I said you don't think he is in, or he may be in, or he's definitely not in, what is it. That's when one gentleman asked could he help me. I said no it was really something I wanted to speak to the GM about. I then asked his name and it was Brandon who I had spoken to previously. I told him who I was and proceeded to tell me he was the one who helped me out earlier. I told him I wanted to let the GM the story and he immediately got on his high horse about him always getting back to me and how good he was at his job. He then got up off his chair and said (both in a threatening tone) let's go to the back room and talk about this. (My tone now was also elevated but certainly not threatening. We got to the back room which I believe was the GM office. Another gentleman followed him in. Brandon continued to tell me he always returned my call and how good he is at his job when the other gentleman, Vadon who turned out to be Brandon's boss sent him out of the room. The next 30 minutes was spent explaining the situation to Vadon who said it was the first he had heard of the story. After letting him know my displeasure Vadon discussed with me about how in 2024 things are different and sometimes things take longer, harder to find good help etc. I'm 64 years old and do live in 2024. Vadon seemed very concerned and disappointed about the events that had taken place. Where was this conversation 25 days ago. Would this have happened under the watch of the LaRiche family? Not in the past 20 years I've been doing business there. 2024 or not this kind of service and treatment shouldn't happen to anyone. Vadon did everything he could to keep my trust in him and he would personally take care of me in the future both on the sales and service end of things Sorry Vadon that's not gonna happen. After not being able to get a hold of your boss numerous times and your sales manager treating me in a threatening manner I'm done doing business with LaFontaine. The funny thing is, I'm usually the guy to write a complimentary story. I will also let the four other family members who do business with you about my story. I hope they have had better luck than me. Oh I forgot I also had them look at a tire with a slow leak. They found a nail in the sidewall and it could not be fixed. Cost for a new tire 270.00...for a small Tralblazer, I said no thanks. More
Terrible dealership since LaFonatine took over from Lou La Richie. My Oil Changes have gone up over $100 each time, Sales seem all over the place and like youre just a number on their belt.... Just all aro La Richie. My Oil Changes have gone up over $100 each time, Sales seem all over the place and like youre just a number on their belt.... Just all around bad time each time I'm there. I recenetly went it to see my options as my lease is coming up to turn in, However, I am 20k miles under turn in. So when attempting to see what they would purchase it for, I asked what would be the cheapest lease I could get into.... they said theyd have numbers on paper within 10-15 min later. After an hour and half, I left with nothing and VERY LITTLE contact. Seemed like they forgot about me until I walked out the building. Then they stopped me trying to throw the whole sales speech to me. More

Liars with false promises On 3/19/19 was purchasing a $54K truck after an overnight test drive, was promised of a promo by GM Finincial that last four payments of prior vehicle On 3/19/19 was purchasing a $54K truck after an overnight test drive, was promised of a promo by GM Finincial that last four payments of prior vehicle would be paid. Changed insurance, ran credit, obtained and wasted a GM employee pricing pin, all for them to rip the rug out from underneath and said they were wrong and won’t pay the last four payments totaling $1,200. They lost a sale over peanuts to them and did jack to make it right after lying. Wouldn’t pay the difference, wouldn’t barter service or truck add ins like tanneau in place, absolutely nothing. Would never buy from liars... steer clear, also their body shop isn’t AAA certified cause it was revoked. Sad sad... More

Sales staf Went with my daughter to lease a car and was pretty much invisible to these people. Mind you, it was a weekday and the show room was empty. Sales staff were all at their desks on their computers or phone. No one bothered to say hello, not even the receptionist. We finally approached Greg who seemed reluctant to help us. Now, I don't know if this experience was attributed to the fact that we are women or that this dealership needs to be retained on the art of customer service but it was not an experience we were willing to subject ourselves any further to so we went to another dealer in Wayne that treated us like our business was important to them. Unwilling to budge on price for used car I went in with my husband to look at a vehicle that had been on their lot for approximately 1 year (per the carfax report). After test driving it and I went in with my husband to look at a vehicle that had been on their lot for approximately 1 year (per the carfax report). After test driving it and fully examining the vehicle, we felt it was priced too high and offered $1200 below what their sticker was. This was not by any means a low ball offer, considering the same model, make, mileage, and "package" were offered for similar prices to what we offered to pay. After putting a deposit down on the vehicle, and playing the waiting game through Saturday and Monday morning, we were told they were at "rock bottom" on the price and unable to budge. I called them out on the fact that the vehicle had been sitting there for a year and he said "Well, he's not worried about selling it, so we're not budging". Just lost a sale, guys. Never lose a sale. Particularly on a vehicle that has been taking up a spot on your used lot for a year. You could have made the sale (even if you didn't make as much money as you hoped) and gotten several other cars in there that would sell faster. More

They answered any questions I had and treated me like a queen. This was my first leasing expereince and they put all of my fears about leasing to rest. I felt like part of the Lou LaRiche family. Everyone I spoke with during my visit was warm, friendly and very kind. I will definately do more business with Lou La Riche in the future. More
Excessively Rude Staff I think I can safely say that I have had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life with Lou LaRiche. My father and I went to pick up my I think I can safely say that I have had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life with Lou LaRiche. My father and I went to pick up my car which was being serviced under warranty. The passenger side door had a large, deep scratch that was not there when I dropped the car off. When we attempted to speak with the service staff about the scratch they insisted that they were not responsible and that the scratch must have been there before but that we hadn't noticed because the car had some road salt on it. When we insisted that this was not true we were fiercely interrogated in a humiliating and infantilizing manner about the origins of each and every paint flaw on my car. Despite the fact that I knew which scratches were old and had not happened at Lou LaRiche, anything less than a full history of each paint flaw was held as evidence that I could not possibly have known that the new scratch was new. The whole exchange made my father quite angry and made me cry. The staff was aggressive, rude, and callous. Not only did they fail to care for my car correctly, they failed to show me basic human dignity. I can not even begin to put my disappointment into words. I will have no future dealings with Lou LaRiche and encourage others to avoid them as well. More
