I rarely leave negative reviews, but after my experience with this service department, I feel others should know what I've dealt with. I purchased a 2018 Ford Escape from this dealership in 2023. Since then, I've had an extensive list of major repairs, including: * A transmission rebuild * Two turbocharger replacements (the second one just completed) * A complete exhaust replacement When I first brought the vehicle in for the transmission, the repair wasn't completed correctly, and I had to bring it back because the original issues were never resolved. The turbocharger was replaced in 2025, yet it failed again and had to be replaced a second time. I was also informed that the wastegate solenoid was never replaced during the original turbo repair, and now I'm being quoted an additional $500–600 to replace that component. It's frustrating to learn that such an important related part wasn't addressed during the initial repair. Just two weeks ago, I also had to replace the exhaust. To make matters worse, after picking up my vehicle from the most recent turbo replacement, the technician failed to properly secure the engine splash shield. While driving home, it came loose and began dragging on the road. I was forced to pull over on the side of the road in 90-degree heat to crawl under my vehicle and temporarily secure it just so I could safely make it home. This wasn't just inconvenient—it was a serious safety issue that should never have happened after a professional repair. Everyone can make mistakes, but this has become a pattern of incomplete repairs, repeat failures, and poor attention to detail. Between the amount of money I've spent, the repeated trips back to the dealership, and now a preventable safety issue, I've completely lost confidence in this service department. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves their quality control so other customers don't have to go through the same experience. More

Ethan Darling greeted me in the Quick Lube service bay and I told him I might have a slow leak in one of my tires on my recently purchased 2024 Ford Edge. Ethan assured me they would take a look at it and and I told him I might have a slow leak in one of my tires on my recently purchased 2024 Ford Edge. Ethan assured me they would take a look at it and within 10 minutes came to inform me there was a screw in the tire, which was causing it to lose air. He said they should be able to fix it in about 20 mins. Sure enough, 20 mins later, Ethan came in and told me it was done! They also balanced the air pressure in all four tires and filled up my washer fluid… NO CHARGE! Quality service and quality people at Lafontaine Ford. I highly recommend this dealership. An A+ experience. Thank you, to Ethan and the guys who diagnosed and fixed my tire! More
