Bought a 2005 mustang from their Kia dealer and took 3rd party warranty. First service was "okay" but still had a slight noise (left it to age of car). Second service was NOT so great. Although the diagnosi party warranty. First service was "okay" but still had a slight noise (left it to age of car). Second service was NOT so great. Although the diagnosis was no charge based on my insurance policy, they coukd bot 100% even confirm the issue. In addition, while testing they did a test in my emission system that that car should not have had done to where it blew gas back out the fuel neck. Lastly, AND THE MOST CONCERNING, when contacting managers at the dealer they NEVER FOLLOWED UP OR CALLED ME BACK! This crap service has been reported to the 3rd party warranty so I now don't have to go to LaFontaine. More

After 8000 miles, the truck began to have a bad vibration while towing a trailer in 8th gear from 2000 to 3000 rpm. I brought the vehicle into the dealer after telling them that the truck only had the issue when towing the 2000 pound trailer. They could not find a problem so they told me to bring in the trailer to test drive. I brought the trailer in and did a test drive with the transmission tech. He noticed a torque converter shutter after the test drive and recommended the transmission be replaced. The transmission was replaced and I was told there was metal debris in the fluid sample. I towed again the next weekend. Again the truck had a vibration. I called Andrew (the service manager) and spoke to him. He told me I didn’t have to bring the boat in again and that they needed to look at it again. I did as instructed. With my frustration growing, I called Ford customer service. Ford called the La Fontaine service department and the service department said that they couldn’t replicate the problem and that I needed to bring the trailer in. I then called Andrew. Andrew told me that they never saw anything wrong with the truck, they replaced the transmission to make me feel better, made up the story about metal debris to defraud Ford, and implied I am lying about the issue to get a new truck. At the end of the day, I am left with a truck I paid 60k for that I can not comfortably tow with and a dealer unwilling or unable to assist. More

had a recall on my 2014 Ford F150, I took it to Lafontaine Ford to have it reprogrammed in the transmission as that was the recall notice was for. After I receive my truck back, it was messing up, Lafontaine Ford to have it reprogrammed in the transmission as that was the recall notice was for. After I receive my truck back, it was messing up, shifting up and down and would not go up the hill with how missing. My truck was fine before I took it in for the recall! I took it back to Ford and told them that the program that they installed did not work or it was faulty, they again kept my truck for two hours and looked at it and said they're the program is just fine that the (lead frame, ) new part that l've never heard of, it sits in the middle of the transmission Needed to be replaced. So I spent the $1300 to get the lead frame replaced, and it's doing the exact same thing that it was doing right after I had it programmed. Again, I took it to the Macanic, now my transmission is totally junk. Talking to la Fontaine, and it is all my responsibility. They will charge me $120 to figure out what is wrong with my truck. I called Ford motor company headquarters and they told me that it was my problem, and that I could have them fix it, if I wanted to use their dealership, otherwise you're on your own Somehow, this does not seem right to me.
