I was very impressed with the way the dealership handled our request for information on a car. The salesmen Zack was very professional and when I came in I no intentions of buying that day but left with a n our request for information on a car. I had been at several other dealerships but didn't get professionalism that Zack gave me and my wife. I love the car - and all the technology!!! More
This is an update. I finally got an appointment to have our new Nautilus fixed because it took almost a month to be able to provide us a loaner for the 2-3 days of exp I finally got an appointment to have our new Nautilus fixed because it took almost a month to be able to provide us a loaner for the 2-3 days of expected repair time. As requested by the location manager, Luke Field, I met with him to discuss my issues further and provide document proof. I was told 3 times by Luke that he did not know about this appointment! I then went over the problems with the sales rep, Dwayne Boyd, when I asked for a couple of days to think about the purchase before deciding. He requested $1000 down to place a hold on the vehicle. When returning on Monday I got hollered at for not bringing a certified check for the purchase! Luke's comment about this was that he did not hire him! Luke also said that the additional charge for using my credit card and not informing me was only 2% or so! He also said that the 3 bills I received for the oil change that I paid for at time of the car sale were not bills. I showed him the invoice with the “Due” on them. One also indicated to inform the customer that the normal billing amount was $135.00! The last “bill” was for $65.00! All Luke kept saying (4 times) was that these were not bills. As one can see, this “meeting” was met with refusal to admit fault and no apology whatsover. Now it gets worse. I was then told my Luke that he had to correct his 94 year old grandfather over a restaurant complaint that he had and, secondly, that I must have had other situations recently that were causing me to issue this complaint. The only other thing I told Luke was that, like I think most others, this world is becoming more deceitful, etc. but I also indicated to him that this should not and did not have anything to do with my vocalization of displeasure to him and his company. I was brought up to have respect for all others, especially seniors and customers. You don't call someone 40-50 years older than you by their first name. Finally, after waiting for about a month to get things fixed because they had to make sure I was provided a loaner, there was no loaner available! I asked how this could happen and saw a turn of the head and eyes pointing at Luke. Wonderful. Listen, I do not like to complain but, like I said before, this is the worse I have been treated in over 60 years of vehicle purchases. I have never issued formal complaints for any business before. Lincoln should be better than this. More
Everyone was very helpful up to a point. I have a real concern about a break line recall and no one can give me an answer as to when parts will be available! It’s been over 8 months now and I’m very concerned about even driving this car. I know it’s not the dealer but someone needs to address this safety issue!!! More
I bought a 2026 Lincoln Aviator from LaFontaine. Might have been my best experience in buying a car. There was none of the standing around waiting to hear back from the sales manager. LaFontaine came to my work to perform recall work on my Navigator. They communicated well, arrvied on time and took care of the recall with out me missing time away from the office Navigator. I was in for an oil change and tire rotation, and a noticeable squeak in the front end when the vehicle goes over bumps at a slow speed. You can also hear it when you leave from a stop. Upon the completion of the oil change, I asked if the squeak was looked at because nothing was said about it. The service person said she would go check with the technician and she came back and said that the oil change technician was not qualified to investigate a squeak. They were shortstaffed that day and therefore had no one available to check out the squeak in the front end of the car. I was never offered to set up an appointment to have it looked at, but was just sent on my way. They also did not have a porter working that day so they were not washing vehicles. More
