I was in for an oil change and tire rotation, and a noticeable squeak in the front end when the vehicle goes over bumps at a slow speed. You can also hear it when you leave from a stop. Upon the completion of the oil change, I asked if the squeak was looked at because nothing was said about it. The service person said she would go check with the technician and she came back and said that the oil change technician was not qualified to investigate a squeak. They were shortstaffed that day and therefore had no one available to check out the squeak in the front end of the car. I was never offered to set up an appointment to have it looked at, but was just sent on my way. They also did not have a porter working that day so they were not washing vehicles. More
Totally crooked company. I have purchased and driven over 100 vehicles in the last 60 years and this is the crookedest company. We purchased a "new" Lincoln Nautilus and tu I have purchased and driven over 100 vehicles in the last 60 years and this is the crookedest company. We purchased a "new" Lincoln Nautilus and turned out not new but cost the "new" price as indicated on my sales agreement. I did not know it had this many miles already and they were still selling as new. This is also the least comfortable, most noise (strong wind noise w/o any wind outside), heat/air not working the way it should vehicle I have owned. One customer service rep said I would have to pay for nonwarranty work. The other customer service rep said his vehicle has the same problems. Lincoln is definitely not a luxurious vehicle. I paid $886 extra at closing for oil changes for 75000 miles. The account mgr said this was only about $80 each time compared to the usual $129 which I thought was a good deal. Well, I just had my first oil change and they charged me $95.31 which was way below the $129 but $95.31 too much as I told the sales rep I already paid for this at closing. He didn't say anything. I get home and had this bill emailed to me. Now, today about 2 weeks later, I got another bill for this service for $64.98 as they credited me with $30 for a coupon which I never had and do not need. Call these people and they will not call back. There is only 1 number that goes to everyone. Emails do not get responded to. More
Calling the dealership gets routed through your Detroit phone system which is arduous at best to navigate! Went to the dealer on 28th street only to be told that w/o an appointment an oil change would be 10 days to two weeks! Crazy how I have been to your dealership half dozen times and always have new ppl! Ale-via waited on me and got my SUV in immediately. Extremely difficult to get service. No new updated window sticker stating the work was completed. Back ordered for the second time a rear window wiper with no follow up! Once in February and again on my May visit. Your company does not deserve to be a Lincoln franchise! Terrible customer care and service. I lease/own four Lincoln’s and would never consider purchasing from Lafountaine ever! My vehicles are under Detail Technologies/Lynda Ostosh/Christopher Ostosh! Terrible customer service period - and this is from many visits to your dealership - always the same! You should call to the dealership and try to schedule a service and maybe you will understand my frustration! The ppl at your call center in Detroit are generalist and don’t treat customers deserving of Lincoln respect! More

I was very satisfied not only with the high level of work this dealership provided, but also with their clear and consistent communication methods. Over the next days I was then contacted by the dealership and provided clearn and detailed updates accompanied with proposed solutions to consider. Upon picking up my vehicle after being serviced, the team took the time to ensure I was promptly tended to, and satisfied with all of the work. Well done LaFontaine Lincoln of Grand Rapids.
