The sales rep listened to what I wanted, her manager went out of his way to locate just the right vehicle and the gentleman who handled my financing paperwork explained everything in a simple straightforward manner. I walked in late on a Thursday and drove off in my new car in less than 48 hours! Very impressive. Thank you Habiba and Malcolm for your help. More
I did a lot of research online and decided the Elantra Touring best fit my needs for a new vehicle. the only one in my price range was 30 miles away, so I contacted Jason online for a quote and questions. Touring best fit my needs for a new vehicle. the only one in my price range was 30 miles away, so I contacted Jason online for a quote and questions. I had very specific cargo-carrying needs and asked him to measure the cargo area. He crawled around inside the car with a tape measure and got right back to me via email. We sealed the deal a couple of days later, and it was a very pleasant experience. I had contacted other dealers with similar requests, and gotten only form letter emails with quotes identical to the online price. Guess what? I deleted those messages. Jason went the extra mile, and as a result got my business and respect in the process. Everyone else involved were also helpful and friendly. 5 stars! More

She did her best to try to figure out the scratch that I found-actually it was not scratch, just kind of dirt. Anyway, all staff including Habiba, Josh, and a manager (I am not sure of his name, sorry !) were kind and great. In the future, hope to see you for new cars. More
Tamika Thomas and the staff at Lafontaine Kia exhibited a degree of professionalism and friendliness that will bring me back to the dealership when it is time to purchase another vehicle. My experience at th degree of professionalism and friendliness that will bring me back to the dealership when it is time to purchase another vehicle. My experience at the dealership will allow me to refer their services to any family member or friend who is in the market for a vehicle. Tamika had a smile on her face the entirety and this made the small wait time during the process of obtaining a loan pleasant. The office manager went above and beyond to get me the vehicle I wanted for very little down. I grade Tamika's performance and the dealership's an A for awesome! More

I went to this dealership to look for a new car after coming out of bankruptcy (Chapter 7). I initially worked with Nate. I called prior to my coming up there which is how I ended up with Nate as my sale coming out of bankruptcy (Chapter 7). I initially worked with Nate. I called prior to my coming up there which is how I ended up with Nate as my salesperson. I went in on a Wednesday morning with my idea car in mind. The Hyundai Veloster. After completing ppwrk and providing my check stubs and references Nate told me that they had no more Veloster's in stock and attempted to show me several other cars. I told him that I wanted a certain vehicle and didn't want to look at anything else. They he stated that he may have one coming in a few weeks. I told that I would wait. After completing my app and appraising my other vehicle I looked on the lot and became interested in the 2013 Optima. I told my sales person and he proceeded to get the keys for a test drive. As he walked out he introduced me to Michelle Cafeo (Finance Mgr). She explained that my credit wasn't too good and that I was approved for a vehicle under 20k , double digit interest rate, and 15% down. Ouch! The Optima was 23k. At that time no test drive was given. LOl. I told her that I had a co-signer and that we would complete the online app. I left without my test drive. Completed the app and called her. She stated that the co-signer wouldn't go through and then proceeded to tell me about all the vehicles I could get for under 20k including a 2011 Sonata with 30k miles on it. After a few emails back and forth. She offered to check and get back with me. I told her that I'd be interested in it but I wanted to have a lower down payment. This was Thur morning. After sending several emails and calling up check on the status I finally got in touch with her on Tuesday the following week. She said that this was the best deal she could do. She sounded uninterested. That Monday I walked into Suburban Hyundai and that Tues evening (the same day i called Michelle back) I walked out with a 2013 Sonata. No price limit and single digit interest rate. More
I've heard great things about the service department, so hopefully my future experience with service will erase my memories of the experience with the sales staff. I had initially worked with Jason Rein hopefully my future experience with service will erase my memories of the experience with the sales staff. I had initially worked with Jason Reinke, but when I came in to start the sales process I learned he had left for the day and I was handed off to Jason Hankerson. I was going to leave and come back another day, but I was encouraged to stay, I should have listened to my gut, because nothing seemed to go right and a lot of my valuable time has been wasted. First, he wouldn't listen to me when I told him I wanted to know what they would give me for my trade-in and the bottom-line price of the car I was buying. He kept coming back with various payment amounts and got frustrated because I wouldn't agree to a deal. I didn't want to know payment amounts - I wanted to know the bottom line. That took several iterations and for some reason they wouldn't let me see the price sheet so I'd know exactly what was on the car - I was just supposed to trust them. Then they kept forgetting the various incentives and 0.9% financing offer and kept pushing longer term loans even though I told him three times that I would not be financing the car for longer than 36 months. Then they pushed to have me pick up the car the next day, but it wasn't feasible for me. So I came in the subsequent day and the car was not ready. So that was more sitting around for me. Good thing I carry my Kindle with me! When it came time to go over the car, he was more focused on the technology, which he really couldn't demonstrate, and I've had to read the manual to figure out how to use the functional aspects of the car. Once again, he wasn't paying attention to what I was interested in and didn't answer several of my questions. I decided to go on-line to try and figure out the Blue-Link on my own, only to find out I didn't know the password, the PIN, or the answer to the security question. He set all these things up without telling me, or without any input from me, and now I'm stuck with it because the website people can't figure out how to let me change any of them. And without knowing the answer to the security question, I had a heck of a time verifying my identity in order to get them to tell me what my PIN is. And... he misspelled my name, so every time I go on the web site I'm greeted with a misspelled first name. People's names are important to them, so you should spell it correctly. The web guys said they could change my misspelled name via the system if I provided the VIN for my car, but guess what... the wrong VIN was on the title application, financing agreement, and everything else. So then I was expected to interrupt my work day to check the VIN on my car and then change my evening plans to come in and resign everything to fix his mistakes. People wonder why I keep my cars as long as I do. Essentially it's because I hate having to go through the experience of dealing with car salesmen, and this has been my worst experience to date. More
I had previously visited a different Hyundai dealership, and my experience there was the typical runaround, guessing game of the price of the car. The type of experience that makes people dread car buying and my experience there was the typical runaround, guessing game of the price of the car. The type of experience that makes people dread car buying and the kind of experience that gives car salesman there bad reputation. At LaFontaine I did not experience any of these issues. They worked very hard to get me out of a lease I was in early and get me into my new Sonata. I never had the feeling that I was being given the runaround. I knew what the price of the car was, what I had to put down to get the payment I wanted. The salesman I worked with both worked hard to put me into a new Hyundai. I would definitely recommend this Hyundai dealership to others. More
