We bought our Ford Explorer in 2021 from Laird Noller. We have taken it in every 5000 miles for service and even bought our tires from them. Took it in last week for an oil change. When they finished that We have taken it in every 5000 miles for service and even bought our tires from them. Took it in last week for an oil change. When they finished that the lady that checked me in came over and showed me everything that the mechanic said needed fixed. He said we needed front and rear brakes and rotors also the radiator fluid needed changed. The total cost of the extra things, not counting the oil change, was 3300.00 dollars. I said no thanks, then I took my car the next day to my local mechanic that I would stack up against any mechanic. He checked the brakes and rotors and pads and said everything looks like new. The car was not acting or braking funny before I took it in. We are retired and usually only have to get the oil changed about every 5-6 months. Your Company that I bought my car from was trying to cheat us out of 3300.00 dollars on work that was not needed. Not sure who all I can send this review to but people need to see it. I was close to needing to buy a new Truck and had planned on buying it at Laird Noller in Lawrence. Not any more - I will never buy a car from a company that tries to cheat me. I will never let them change my oil again either. Someone should be accountable for things like this trying to take advantage of older people. I will tell everyone I know to stay away from your dealership. More
Man, let me tell you somethin’ — I rolled up to this dealership thinkin’ I was just gonna get a regular ol’ oil change, but these cats treated my ride like it was the smoothest Caddy on the boulevard. I dealership thinkin’ I was just gonna get a regular ol’ oil change, but these cats treated my ride like it was the smoothest Caddy on the boulevard. I’m talkin’ VIP treatment. My car walked in feelin’ crusty, and rolled out purrin’ like a jazz sax at midnight. The crew back there? Slicker than a fresh jar of Skippy. They checked me in, changed that oil quicker than you can say “Right on!”, and even topped off my fluids like they were mixin’ a cocktail at a soul lounge. And the vibe? Brother, I felt so welcome I almost asked for a robe and slippers. Everybody was smilin’, crackin’ jokes, and movin’ like they had funk in their shoes. That’s customer service with rhythm, baby. So if your car’s runnin’ dry, low, or just feelin’ un-funky, boogie on down to this spot. They’ll get you tuned up, smoothed out, and cruisin’ cool again. Can you dig it? I knew you could. More
