Unfortunately, I believe the technician providing her information about my car was dishonest and intentionally misleading. I brought my car in for a very specific issue and I had the error code which detailed the root cause. Unfortunately, the technician reported ancillary issues that didn't need to be fixed but first presented them as required to be fixed. Only after my follow up questions did it become clear that the ancillary issues could be deferred. What started as an 'about $700' repair estimate ballooned to $3100, and then came down to 'about $800.' And the 'about $800' estimate wouldn't include the $180 I paid for the diagnosis I already knew. This whole experience has again, unfortunately, made me suspicious of any repair that I might need to have completed by the dealer. If I had just been given an honest, complete explanation of the findings and reasonable options, the experience would have been vastly different. By the way, will this experience make me more or less likely to purchase another vehicle from Lake? Obviously, less. I can't imagine doing so after this, and I'll be in the market soon. What a wasted opportunity. More

Was told they "keep those in stock". 20 min into the oil change I was told they didn't have the harness and would have to wait. over an hour into the oil change, was asked if I had the bulbs for the tail light. I was hoping that the DEALERSHIP would have all the necessary parts to complete the pre-scheduled service that I had requested. over 2 hours later I was charged $234 and sent down the road with one working taillight and wondering if they actually even changed the oil. I was also told that my trans cooler lines were leaking/seeping on a transmission that is barely 2.5 years old and quoted nearly $800 to replace a $50 part. The service writer that I dealt with at the dealer was good, but the dealership as a whole is absolute garbage. Being told over the phone that they would have everything needed to complete my service, only to find out I was lied to and essentially blown off and sent down the road with maybe half the service I had scheduled completed, is unacceptable. After paying $234 I still had to finish the job myself. More
