I have never had such a car buying experience. Derek was informed and friendly the entire way. I never felt like I needed a shower to wash the slime off of me when leaving. That says enough but there was so much more I liked about this dealership. I'm 36 and this is my 5th car buying experience. I was ready to not feel taken advantage of. That "let me check with the sales manager" crap was getting pretty old. I saw Lamaroux had amazing reviews on here as well as other buyer rating sites. I drove passed 2 ford dealerships to get out here (1 hour drive) and it's been worth every drive. I had to order my car. Because it was a Ford ST (performance version of the regular car) it took months to build my car. During these months Derek kept in touch in an awesome, non slimy way. He already had the sale but he was as pumped on this car as I was. We would share videos we found on YouTube and he saved magazines that came across his desk for me. In short, I highly recommend Lamoureux and Derek for your next Ford purchase. I'm still blown away at how awesome they were to work with. I look forward to sending my friends and family their way. Everyone was very nice and friendly. They took care of everything for me and showed me how everything works and told me to come back if I had a problem with any of it.. Last May we decided to look at another dealership for other than a Ford. We were horrified by our experience with the salesman we encountered, the pressure to purchase was huge! When the salesman learned we were just in the beginning stages of looking for a new vehicle, and not purchasing that day, he left us just standing there on the dealership lot. We decided to give one more dealership a try. We knew the exact vehicle we wanted to test drive, so called ahead to make sure it would be available. We were informed our specific test drive would be waiting when we arrived. When arriving to test drive, of course the model we requested was not there, but guess what, the next model up was! Again the pressure to purchase was too much for us to handle... which is what brings me to this review! My husband did end up purchasing a vehicle, a 2012 Ford Fusion from Koko, Pressure Free!! I, myself , was recently 'toying' with the idea of trading in my 8yr old Ford Freestyle for the new 2013 Escape. I went to Lamoureux Ford 3 days in a row to test drive, talk to Koko, and contemplate my decision. During all of my trips to the dealership, everyone was friendly, they know you by your 1st name, the owner Mark even went out of his way to visit with me and make conversation, other than just CARS! Lamoureux is pressure free, I do believe I get the BEST deal possible, and Koko is the best! We dont believe we will 'stray' again, it was just too painful! The salesman was very friendly, and very knowledgeable about every vehicle that I was interested in. He was helpful with answering all questions, but did fail to mention a couple large marks to exterior t about every vehicle that I was interested in. The service dept was a bit unhelpful when it came to a few small things i was trying to get resolved prior to leaving the dealership. Which i was at the dealership two days in a row to get everything accomplished and they still couldnt get either thing done. This is my third vehicle from the salesman and i recomend him to everyone. I plan on buying more vehicles from him in the future. More
