They will lock in a deal structure, secure your sensitive financial data, get a bank approval, and then retroactively alter the terms by five figures once they have you trapped. I spent days working a deal in good faith with their sales team on a Cadillac Escalade. We finalized a financial deal structure that explicitly included a $93,000 trade-in allowance for my vehicle. Based on this locked-in agreement, I authorized a hard credit inquiry. AutoNation Corporate Auto Finance called me directly to confirm the loan was fully approved based on those exact parameters. The dealership tagged my keys, cleared out my belongings, and placed a physical "Not for Sale" stock sticker on my windshield. Once my credit was run and the bank approval was secured, the General Manager stepped in and executed a textbook bait-and-switch. They retroactively slashed my trade-in valuation by $15,000, dropping it to $78,000, claiming their internal inventory calculations changed overnight. They then had the audacity to offer a pathetic $1,000 discount to make up for a $15,000 hit. Nothing about my vehicle changed. Nothing about the market changed. The only thing that changed was this management team's willingness to honor their legal and financial word. They used an agreed-upon structure as bait to damage my credit file with an inquiry, only to completely rewrite the contract on the back end. This is an unprincipled, deceptive retail operation. The deal is completely dead, and I am moving forward with formal complaints to the California DMV Occupational Licensing Division, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and the California Attorney General's Consumer Protection Unit. Protect your credit and your sanity. Take your business to a luxury dealership group that actually possesses basic corporate ethics and professional leadership. More

The staff was very helpful and explained the pricing. Alex explained the features of the new car and Arthur explained various financial options. Alex explained the features of the new car and Arthur explained various financial options. More

The only issue I had was the technician ordered the wrong part initially and had to reorder it but since Kaleb had gotten me a loaner, it wasn’t to harmful for us. And the manager Nate, did his best to accommodate us as well. Thank you. More
Tread carefully when buying a used car from this AutoNation location. They advertise a simple, transparent buying experience, but mine was anything but. I came in ready to purchase a used plug-in AutoNation location. They advertise a simple, transparent buying experience, but mine was anything but. I came in ready to purchase a used plug-in hybrid with my own financing, only to have the finance manager, Austin, aggressively push their high interest loan without clearly presenting my own financing option. It took multiple conversations with different managers before I was finally able to see the correct contract. Once the paperwork was done, the car wasn’t even ready for pickup. The A/C wasn’t blowing cold, and there was a noticeable squeaking sound when driving. My salesperson, Roger, said parts would be ordered, but he'd update me on its completion. It took two full weeks before I could finally pick up the car and asking for a rental in the meantime felt like a major inconvenience for them. Because I live an hour away, I requested reimbursement for the Lyft ride back to the dealership, something the sales manager, Arthur, said he’d “take care of.” Another two weeks and several follow ups later, I still haven’t received a thing. It has officially been more than 3 months and I'm still reaching out to get the reimbursement. On top of that, they only provided one license plate even though California requires two, then told me I’d have to handle getting the second one myself. To make matters worse, within three weeks of owning the car, new issues started showing up: the steering pulls while driving, there’s a squeaking near the front tires, and a clunking sound coming from the trunk area. In short, the experience has been frustrating from start to finish. I expected better from a certified AutoNation dealership. Be cautious and double check everything before signing. No “deal” is worth the hassle I’ve been through. More
My service coordinator was Kaleb he was professional and courteous one hundred percent on point. He made recommendations, added me to his calendar to remind me of my upcoming service intervals. Brought my car in for a coolant leak, $800 repair and they didn't have a loaner, so I had to get a rental, took them 4 weeks to fix it. A week later, it is leaking again, and they asked for additional $2 they didn't have a loaner, so I had to get a rental, took them 4 weeks to fix it. A week later, it is leaking again, and they asked for additional $2,200 with $1,500 of that being 4 hours of labor to fix the leak, again. They have had my car for another 4 weeks, I still don't have it or they haven't mentioned when it will be ready. I purchased this CPO car in late January this year, I asked them if they would buy it since they have had it for 2 months out of the 8 months that I have owned it, and their sales manager offered me $22,000 less than what I paid for it 9 months ago with no accidents and 5k miles put on it! Overall, terrible experience. More
Great experience buying a used vehicle from Land Rover South Bay. A few difficulties with online communication in the beginning, but all questions were answered once I was able to talk to dealership st South Bay. A few difficulties with online communication in the beginning, but all questions were answered once I was able to talk to dealership staff. Price was exceptional for the vehicle purchased, being several thousand dollars cheaper than any dealer in Northern California. I ended up flying down and driving the car 400 trouble-free miles back home. Thanks to RD, Alex, and everyone else that helped make the deal happen. More
