(It seems like the appointment is for the dealers convenience on checking vehicles in. It doesn't appear to determine when the vehicle will actually be serviced.) While there, I purchased tires and alignment (for $1100). (While the price for the tires and alignment were about $100 more than what I could obtain from the other tire places I do business with, I figured I would just get them at the dealership and save me the time taking the vehicle to another place.) Vehicle was ready at 4:45 pm on Thursday. Too late for me to pick it up. Picked up vehicle on Friday approx 1:30 pm. They didn't have someone readily available to bring it to the front so I offered to get it myself. Noticed that all wheels and tires were covered with the grease or lube that they use to slip the tires on over the rims. (Very disappointed that the tire installer couldn't even take a few seconds to wipe them off as they mounted them onto the vehicle.) While driving back to work, noticed that the tire pressures were 5-6 lbs too high on one side and 10-12 lbs too high on the other. After approx 2 minutes of driving, the wheel sensors re-synced and the pressures switched sides but were still too high. Also noticed that the steering wheel was off center with possibly a slight pull and then the steering wheel exhibited a slight shimmy as you approached 60 mph. So over the weekend, I adjusted the pressures and drove it some more. Problems were still there. Took the vehicle back to the dealer on Monday approx 9:30 am and explained the situation. It was stated that they had some problems with the wheel balancer and would look at it again. I did not hear anything back until Tuesday at 5pm when I asked for an update. I was told that they thought it might be the tires and the shop foreman would be involved and that I would hear something Wed am. I heard nothing back all day Wednesday until I received an incomplete text message at about 4 pm. When I asked about it, I was told they were still looking at the problem trying to decide which tire it was. I was told they would let me know something 1st thing Thursday am. I stated that I was told that previously and did not hear back on Wed am as promised. I stated that I was very disappointed because the other tire places I deal with would have just put all new tires on by now. I asked them to just put my old tires back on and refund my money. Thursday morning at 9:30, I receive an email and a text stating that my vehicle is ready. No other explanation, phone calls or anything. When I picked up the vehicle it was stated that they were having problems with the balance machine and used another one. So in total it took 4 1/2 days to do a software recall, install a new set of tires, an alignment, and 2 extra trips to the dealer (and someone elses time to shuttle me back and forth). No other contact from management, no offer of future discount, free oil change or anything that would help entice me to come back. While I was there the first time, I obtained some service pricing from Melinda who was nice but seemed overwhelmed with the workloads going on - (my opinion). The services were for my Challenger SRT. Because of this experience, I just can't see trusting that my Challenger will be serviced correctly and can't afford for any mistakes to be made on a vehicle that cost more than $47,000 of my hard earned money. If the personnel can't attend to minor details of wiping off new tires and rims, of ensuring that tires have the correct pressures, that the steering wheel was properly centered and the vehicle passed a test drive, then how can I trust their attention to detail with other more difficult vehicle services that my other car is due for? So far, after the 2nd trip to the dealer, the alignment and tire balance seem to be acceptable. More

Poor communication, overcharged, problem not fixed x2 The staff was professional and courteous. That is why it is 2 stars and not one. -Jeep brought in for 90k service, alignment, brake resurface -Called by service station saying they could not find my wheel lug nut lock, and would have to force off the locked nuts (there is one on each wheel). I said no problem, it was not mentioned that this might take time (I should have asked). -They charged me 2 hours of labor for 4 nuts ($250), then charged me $25 for 4 lug nuts. -My final invoice said I had agreed to a cost up to $1000 for the work which was absolutely false...I was quoted $515 and final bill was $870. -Got on highway, steering wheel vibrating and brakes grinding. -Returned to dealership, was told I needed new rotors. -Car waited for 2 days for parts (new rotors). -Picked up vehicle, they did not replace the rotors, only resurfaced them (again), no one at dealership could explain why they had been resurfaced again and not replaced. Spoke to mechanic, he said it did not appear the rotors had been resurfaced recently. -24 hrs later brakes grinding again. -Called Chrysler, they suggested another dealership who said the resurfacing job had been poor and finally fixed the issue. Chrysler agreed and paid for the final repair. -I emailed their customer service rep on their webpage, no reply. Overall the communication was very poor and I felt overcharged and misled. This was compounded by poor execution of the work which had to be fixed by another mechanic. I would not return. More
