I’m disappointed I dropped my car off to be fixed Friday picked it up Tuesday because they said my car was ready. Well turn the rental in THAT I HAD TO PAY FOR only to get in my car and it’s still making whining sounds. I went to go get Chris. He says to me that it’s my fan and I need a belt replaced and a few other things. But you told me there’s absolutely nothing wrong with my car. You all did a full diagnostic test but didn’t fix anything but now saying this and that is wrong. I’m totally upset. The whole reason for me putting my car in the shop was to get it fixed. But it never did An update on my experience with Steve Landers (August 5): after my review Chris contacted me via text and stated that he was going to check with the mechanic and get back with me regarding my car. I told him please do so because I do not want my car to get worse and cause any further problems/damage. Till this day I have NOT heard anything back from Chris. Also, I am without a car!!! My check engine light is now on as well as my traction light but the roads are completely dry!!! I wouldn’t give Steve Landers no Starr’s but it’s required that you give them 1. I will be in contact with my attorney regarding this matter. More

Just another sales job I have to say that to begin with, my first impression was the one I should have gone with. I asked for information about financing a vehicle and was I have to say that to begin with, my first impression was the one I should have gone with. I asked for information about financing a vehicle and was offered an insulting rate and was then expected to come to the dealership to discuss purchasing the vehicle about which I had inquired. Two more people contacted me in the following week asking me to come in to discuss the van, and didn't seem to want to understand the roadblock to my doing so. After a price drop on the van I was interested in, I re-approached this dealership, this time in person. I worked with a young man who was magnificent. He was on the ball, pleasant, not pushy, very congenial; until we decided to purchase the van. At that point, his interest, good will, and friendliness vanished like mist on a summer morning. During the discussion about financing, my wife's concerns about interest rates was demeaned and trivialized by a random "finance guy" that "came to help". Were it not for the congeniality of the salesman and the contract lady, there would have been no sale. After the sale was complete, we were presented with the key.... no spare key. And the news that there was no remote for the DVD system, nor wireless headphones for it as well. This as the salesperson, who had been so pleasant, brushed me off to get back to whatever was more important than the sale he had just made. Later, asking about the missing spare key, I was told that a replacement would cost $240.00 by a rather bored young man at the parts desk. I wrote the dealer asking for help regarding the key, and was assured by the responding individual (who happened to be the first salesman that had offered me the high interest rate) that he would try to help us out. He then complained that I should have dealt with him for the van instead of the guy that I had worked with. Haven't heard anything else from anyone since. Got even less response when asking about the missing remote control. Two days after the sale, we got calls asking about the insurance we got for the van and the $4000 check we wrote for a down payment and dropped off with their finance people. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. All in all, what should have and could have been a wonderful experience was made negative by the first salesman, the "finance guy", and the lack of customer care following the sale. More

Long story short, we ended up leaving with a new Journey where the monthly payments were right where we wanted them to be. It was an incredible car buying experience with no pressure and no hassle. I would definitely go there again and buy another car. More
