Total Chaos-Still unresolved Purchased (or so i thought) a 2016 dodge dart, provided all documentation, signed finance paperwork on 07/18/2016, drove off and assumed all is taken Purchased (or so i thought) a 2016 dodge dart, provided all documentation, signed finance paperwork on 07/18/2016, drove off and assumed all is taken care of. 08/05/2016 my finance company from my trade in called about payment due, i then call the dealership to find out if there is a problem, they explain there is no problem it was "simply overlooked" and they will get the payoff sent over. August 22nd i try to set online payments up through my financier and after failed attempts and a phone call to said financier i find out they have no contract on me, no information whatsoever. I then call the dealership and speak to a couple different people to finally find out paperwork verification's were never completed and due to a change in my spouses employment on 08/08 we no longer are approved. when I ask how they plan on remedying this problem, their answer is we will have to get "our" car back. I then reach out to general manager who stated he would look into it and call me back, he didn't, instead Don from financing called clearly upset this has fallen into his lap, he said he will work on it and call back, he didn't, so I called back a couple hours later to find out whats happening. i leave 5 voicemail's, during my 6th call I speak to general manager again who stated he will have a meeting with finance and sales manager to come to a solution and call me right back, i called back again and leave a voicemail for the general manager requesting an update. Never got a call back, i call the next day around 10:30am and speak with general manager, he states they are working on it and will call back. Then Barney calls and request some information, I have to return his call with this information, and when I do I am again told "I will call you right back", again I haven't received a return call, here I sit another day passed and halfway through today and no one has called. I have just left another voicemail to please call me back and keep me updated as to whats happening. Failed communication from day 1. PS this is the second car I have purchased from this dealership this year and still they have no desire help or even keep me updated. More
It was a painless experience Usually I'm a bit skeptical about purchasing a new car cause of the long wait but this time it was absolutely painless. Smooth sailing. Lol. Bad Customer Service My family has purchased cars at this dealer before and also has had our vehicles serviced at this location, but I must say this has been my worst expe My family has purchased cars at this dealer before and also has had our vehicles serviced at this location, but I must say this has been my worst experience ever dealing with Landers McLarty CJD. I dropped my car off early Tuesday 8/9/16 morning to get it serviced. The assistant service manager then asked me if I would be leaving my vehicle and if I needed a ride through the shuttle service. I stated yes. I then set for 2 hours waiting no one ever showed up. I ended up having to call someone to pick me up. I waited all day Tuesday no one calls to follow up to tell me what’s wrong with my vehicle. I then attempt to call Wednesday to get an update on my vehicle. They told me my service person was busy and she would call me back with a status. Wednesday I was told that I needed a new starter, and that the part would be in Friday. So attempted to call Friday during the day twice. No answer. I finally called back a third time Friday afternoon and was told the part is in, and they will not be able to get to my car until Monday. So I stated that I was promised to have my car Friday and it’s still not available. I then go on to say that my car has been here since Tuesday morning and I have been without a vehicle. So the Assistant Service Manager makes a smart comment saying “Well if you want you can just come pick it up and bring it back Monday!” I then say how I can I pick up my car when it doesn’t even start, and she goes to say “Well I know it doesn’t start”. She was passive aggressive and very unprofessional it also displayed horrible customer service. I then ask to speak to the service center manager. He stated and promised that my vehicle would be ready Monday morning. I did not hear from them at all on Monday so I end up having to call Monday afternoon. They said it’s not ready and the service assistant manager would call me back. She never did. It is now Tuesday 8/16/16 and it has been a whole week and I just received a call to finally pick up my car. After picking up my car I get half way back to work and realize they did not replace the sticker from my oil change; therefore I had to turn all the way around to get a new sticker so I will know the next time I need to service my vehicle. Overall it was a terrible experience. I had to constantly call to see what was going on with my vehicle rather the dealer contact me. The whole week was a run around and a hassle to get my car serviced. You would think going to a dealership and make of your vehicle would get you top notch customer service/ customer satisfaction especially with all the commercials they put out, but not at Landers McLarty CJD. I will never use their services again. #Unsatisfactory More

I received a great deal on the new vehicle & a fair value for the trade. It all sounded too good to be true on the phone so I was 'pleasantly surprised' that there were no unexpected expenses when we arrived at the dealership to close the sale. I appreciated the honest, forthright approach and this sets the standard for how all customers should be treated at any dealership. Thanks again to Ray & Willie for all of your help! More

I was in a recent wreck and suffered a broken leg in the process. I decided to stay with the Jeep brand and chose Landers Mclarty Jeep as my dealer. After contacting a sales rep (Robert Sawyer) and discussing the possibility of purchasing a new vehicle, the sales rep arranged for me to be picked up at my home. In the end I received a great deal on my new Jeep without the usual dealer pressures. I left very satisfied with my purchase. More

Ashley also went above and beyond when she felt that the guys in cleanup didn't do a perfect job on detailing our car (it was late and we were in a hurry!) But she personally went and worked on doing some extra cleaning on the car! Never seen a salesperson do that! We will definitely consider buying from Ashley and Landers McLarty again. More
