What a great buying experience!!! Just completed my "best vehicle purchase" EVER at Landers McLarty Toyota in Fayetteville. Got a great trade value on my wife's Nissan Maxima and a great deal on a 2014 Toyota Highlander Limited. My salesperson was Brad Rhodes...."That Car Salesman" (931-675-2274) and from the Sales Manager Connie Amos. They were ably assisted by Levi in Customer Relations and Ron in Finance. I'm a letter writer.....send them when I get bad service and send them when I get great service. If service is what one would reasonably expect, I don't write. Decided to post this letter because my buying experience was just about perfect (only wish I had asked for some bottled water). These folks demonstrate that they want to EARN your business, treat you with respect, didn't try to play games like some dealers and made me drive away feeling glad that I had stopped there to look at some vehicles. The Highlander Limited is a complete new re-design of the Highlander and is loaded with features that provide,you with comfort, convenience and safety. The vehicle is spacious, ergonomically designed, and arrayed with loads of safety features like the back-up camera, side and rear traffic sensors, etc. It is also a Toyota and the fit and finish is superb. But the best feature is the ride.....quiet, comfortable, ultra smooth and with nice, tight steering. And finally, the audio and navigation system is nothing short of fabulous! The entire Service Department staff at Landers McLarty Toyota is terrific and always friendly and helpful, ready to assist in any way. My wife hit a deer in her Land Cruiser earlier this week, and c Toyota is terrific and always friendly and helpful, ready to assist in any way. My wife hit a deer in her Land Cruiser earlier this week, and caused over $6K in damage. She walked away unharmed and only had body damage to her vehicle. Even though my wife hit a deer that ran out in front of her vehicle travelling at highway speed, my wife never lost control of her vehicle, and managed to stop in a straight line and never ran off the road or into the oncoming land of traffic. This is a testament to the STAR Safety System and durable quality of Toyota vehicles! Her truck has a front brush guard on the front and it took the brunt of the deer impact and protected the engine compartment from damage. Since the SUV was still drivable, I called Jennifer Mosquera, Service Manager, at Landers McLarty Toyota, and explained what had happened and that I wanted Melvin Gleghorn in the Service Department to check the Land Cruiser for any engine or drivetrain damage due to the deer collision. I immediately brought the SUV in for an inspection and Melvin gave the Land Cruiser a clean bill of health with no engine compartment damage found. Kenny Campbell, Service Writer, helped me to check out and said that was no charge for the engine inspection, and they further recommended me to the body shop the Toyota dealership uses for all their body work. I have been very impressed with Landers McLarty Toyota service experience for several years but have never taken the time to write a review until now. We trust no one else to provide service for our Toyota Tundra and Land Cruiser and have recommended their service department to all our friends and family. Jonathan, service writer was very friendly and accommodating to the type of service needed. Waiting room was relaxing and enjoyable.
