I had an extended warranty, both mechanical and maintenance, on my 2018 F150 3.5 Eco Boost with 69K miles on it. The vehicle was purchased at Damerow, and for the first year, Damerow took care of all the maintenance. I then switched over to Landmark for ALL my service needs from that point on. I was 30 days out of the warranty when I brought my truck in for an oil change and a "Used Vehicle Inspection" to be able to add another extended warranty onto my vehicle. That's when Landmark found oil leaks, and marked that I had not done my regular maintenance on the truck. They then gave me a fail on the UVI report which makes me unable to extend my warranty. I was completely shocked because I HAD brought my vehicle in for ALL the service requirements, including oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, brakes, filters, spark plugs, miscellaneous repairs, etc.. However, Landmark said that I had not! After I was insistent on the fact that I had done all the proper maintenance appointments, Landmark looked into this. *They found that they missed the spark plug tune-up, although, at that time, they told me it had been completed.* I decided to take my vehicle to another mechanic shop that was ASE certified. They assessed the truck and found that the oil change that Landmark had just performed the day prior was part of the problem. It had an active oil drip from the very damaged plastic oil plug they reinstalled after an oil change. The second mechanic shop also noted that there was an oil seepage, not a leak. They noted this in writing, and also noted that it looked to be old oil residue from the seep and felt that this should have been noticed and brought to my attention at one of my prior oil changes performed by Landmark. I contacted Landmark and shared with them what the second mechanic assessed, along with the fact that there was a leak from the work they had just performed *which they missed*. Landmark brought the truck back in, replaced the oil plug and pressure-washed all the old oil and crud off of the engine and added die so that they could further investigate for leaks. After the pressure washing, they returned my truck to me with the fiber engine shield damaged and left it dangling and almost rubbing on the ground. *So, once again, I had to bring another issue that they missed to their attention.* *** This now makes SEVERAL issues that I had to bring to their attention that they missed. I contacted Shari, Landmark's customer relations manager, and she took care of the fabric shield and also the spark plugs, but said that the oil leaks happened sometime between the last time Landmark worked on the Truck and the current date, which was 30 days out of warranty.... Bottom line, after a second opinion from a certified mechanic, and the issues I had with Landmark regarding them missing maintenance repairs and oil leaks plus other minor misses over the years, I feel that Landmark Ford missed the oil leaks and now wants me to pay $3k to fix them. I believe they need to implement better QUALITY CONTROL on the work they perform! My Ford is up for sale, and I will be purchasing a RAM! I have also filed a complaint with the BBB as well as I tell EVERYBODY about this issue and the fact that Landmark dropped the ball. (After some due diligence, I found that there was a Technical Service Bulletin for the exact problem I was having with oil pan seepage. This tells me that the problem happens often enough that a TSB was issued with directions on how to repair the problem properly. *** And WHY would Ford use a plastic 2-part oil pan with RTV sealant is beyond me!) ... Do BETTER Landmark!!!! More
Being new in town I took my 2018 F150 there to replace the cam phasers, which is a known issue by Ford, and they initially quoted me $4600 to replace the phasers. However, I called Ford and I received ass the cam phasers, which is a known issue by Ford, and they initially quoted me $4600 to replace the phasers. However, I called Ford and I received assistance from them to pay up to $3000 of that cost which was fantastic. I have had nothing but good experience with the brand. However, the dealerships are separate story. The technicians at Landmark Ford were fantastic and they completed the job in just three days with perfect results. However, when I went to pickup my truck and pay the remainder of the fee along with some other preventative maintenance I asked them to complete, they wanted to charge me additional 3% for convenience fee since I wanted to use my credit card. They never told me about this beforehand specially since they knew my portion would amount to approximately $2500. Talking to their management they would not budge on eliminating the fee and if it was up to them they would have charged me the complete cost of the repair. I had nothing but positive experience with the technicians at Landmark Ford but their shady business practices and trying to nickel and dime their customers, would leave me no choice but to NOT recommend this dealership for anything. I have been planning to purchase a new Raptor R this year but I will take my business elsewhere and I recommend you do the same. More

Ok I got a brake problem with my 2017 Ford Super Duty Diesel F350. I have taken to dealers the problem is still there after the 3rd reply of “we can’t duplicate the problem” they didn’t fix the problem t Diesel F350. I have taken to dealers the problem is still there after the 3rd reply of “we can’t duplicate the problem” they didn’t fix the problem they don’t know how to fix the problem so they use these words. To not be liable for the problem. The last dealership never charged me. They had truck for over a week and gave me no paperwork as if I was never there. My brakes still didn’t not function properly when you step on them the pedal goes to the firewall. They will delete this message so if you read it think before you buy a ford. More
READ THIS BEFORE PURCHASING A VEHICLE FROM LANDMARK! You might be putting yourself and your family at risk and giving yourself a massive headache. I bought a brand new 2024 Lightning Lariat on 3.7.25 You might be putting yourself and your family at risk and giving yourself a massive headache. I bought a brand new 2024 Lightning Lariat on 3.7.25, sticker price $76,995. I returned it ELEVEN days later. Foggy windows, water pouring from the driver door, damp carpets, and a strong mold smell. Landmark confirmed the carpet was wet. Turns out a drain line wasn’t connected during manufacturing. Their plan? “Dry it out and wash the carpets.” I insisted on replacement due to mold. They claimed they found none. When I questioned water in the driver door (not near the faulty drain), they gave confusing and contradictory answers — including “cars get water in the doors if they sit for a long time.” Ford eventually stepped in and told Landmark to replace the carpet. 10 days later, I picked up the truck and found: -Visible mold on the driver door -Water still in the driver door -Back seat poorly reinstalled -Sticky residue on the seat (thanks, “Detail Team”) You decide: Did Landmark Ford knowingly sell a moldy vehicle? 1. This vehicle had water intrusion for 8 months 2. The mold grew visibly in just 10 days, hard to believe it wasn’t there before the sale 3.Landmark thought steam-cleaning moldy carpet was acceptable I’m having a certified lab test the mold to find out how dangerous it is. I’ll post the results and updates on this vehicle that has 216 miles on it. I don't have a problem with a mistake but I have a huge problem with people/business with no integrity. More
