I had a pleasant experience purchasing my 2020 Ford Escape Titanium from Doherty Ford in Forest Grove (back in 2020). So why not having all my services done with them as well. I never had a bad experience. Recently, my tire pressure sensor failed on a back tire, and they took me in that same day for service. While my car was already at their shop why not do an oil change. They offered and I appreciated that. Saves me time to take another day off from work to get the oil change done. My husband also takes his 2012 Ford Utility Van to their Express Lane. We purchased both vehicles from Doherty and have been very happy with our choice of dealer and car/van.

The absolute WORST dealership I've ever dealt with. I have had constant problems with the two cars I have purchased from this dealership. I bought a brand new car from them a few years ago and constantly had mechanical issues with the car, specifically with the car play and display screen. I just had to deal with it as they "couldn't help". Fast forward to a year ago and I trade that in for a used car. Right off the bat before I even drive off the lot I get an alert that my head lamp system is malfunctioning. Come to find out they had to replace the entire head lamp assembly. Fine, I had to bring it back which was a pain the xxx. On top of that I was told I'd be getting around a$500 refund after all the paper work was completed and then surprisingly when I asked about it few weeks later, no one has heard of this and it's not on any of my paper work. But then the rainy season starts and I notice my car is having a wet/mildew smell. My kids and I play sports so i assumed it was that. I decided to get cargo mats just in case we might be getting the carpets wet. LITERALLY THE FIRST DAY IT RAINS, I have over an inch of standing water on the passenger floor board!! I take it in and they tell me that the windshield was never sealed. I even confirmed they sold me the car with that defect because they didn't check. Do they cover it since they sold me a car with a HUGE problem? No. Thousands out of my pocket. I was told to contact them about getting reimbursed and I sent numerous emails, left voicemails and talked to several people who said they'd pass on my information. Not one person got back to me. They just ignored me. Then I bring my car in because it has a recall and when they tell me my car is ready and I go to leave the display doesn't work. So I can't use my back up camera, can't adjust my AC nothing. They didn't even tell me. So then I have to request, they didn't even offer, a rental car. Then when I finally get my car back I realize the front license plate is bent to xxxx and before I drive off the lot the rear windshield wiper falls off. They again, didn't even tell me. They tried to hide it like the windshield. These people here all all terrible used car salesmen and they will screw you over. DON'T GO HERE!

HIGHLY Recommend NOT buying a used car at Newberg Ford. I bought a 2015 Subaru from them in December. Took it in to a Subaru dealership to get it inspected. There was an oil leak, long story short, the only way to fix it was to take the ENTIRE motor out, and the 2 rear wheel bearings needed to be replaced. That was a $5k + job. That took a month to get back. Drove it for 2 days and the Transmission went out. That was a $8,200 job. Spoke to the Sales manager once I found out about the leak, and got nothing but attitude from him. He just kept saying "Good thing you bought a warranty" and " I'm not sure what you want me to tell you to make you feel better". I responded with, "I'm not looking for you to make me feel better, this looks terrible on your part" I asked for a copy of the inspection report from when they took the car in on trade. There was an oil leak stated on the report, but NOT mentioned to me when I bought the car. One good thing, if you want to call it that, the finance guy INSISTED that I buy the warranty. Even after I turned it down several times. The price of the warranty somehow magically went from $6k, that was declined. Then offered to me for $2,000 or so. I have owned the car for 5 months, There has been $13,000 worth of repairs. (All covered by warranty luckily) Hopefully this is it for a while. I have made 3 car payments without even driving the car. Never got any sort of apology even. It seemed as though they don't even care that they sold me an absolute xxx. If I could give a -5* review, I would. Hopefully someone high up Newberg Ford sees this. If its happened to me, its probably happened to more people. In my opinion. STAY AWAY FROM NEWBERG FORD.

Zero stars. Easily the worst customer service experience that I have ever have had. It took three months to diagnose, make an attempted repair (that didn't work) and then repair my daily driver 2019 F-150. The customer service stopped taking and/or returning my calls several times while they had me truck. The estimated prices for the repair changed, ultimately costing $2000 more than originally quoted. When they finally got the vehicle repaired, it was sitting in their lot for 2 months. They returned me a filthy vehicle which must have been outside for 2 months covered in bird droppings. They could not process a DEBIT CARD payment, which they harassed me about, accusing me of having insufficient funds for, which I didn't. Nobody on this staff seems to be in the least bit professional. I would never recommend this establishment. Thanks for the 3 month nightmare. I went here because it was a "Ford Dealership", what a frustrating experience, and no loaner vehicles, awesome.

Chuck Colvin Ford: A March 2024 Nightmare from Start to Finish My recent ordeal with Chuck Colvin Ford in March 2024 was nothing short of a nightmare, marked by atrocious customer service, a rushed process, and a blatant disregard for my concerns. From the moment I stepped foot into the dealership, I was met with indifference and a palpable sense of disinterest from the sales staff. To make matters worse, the salesman, Tim, bombarded me with texts in the days leading up to my visit, creating an atmosphere of pressure and obligation. It felt as though I was being coerced into making a purchase rather than being guided through a thoughtful and considerate sales process. Once I arrived at the dealership, any semblance of professionalism went out the window. The sales staff seemed more interested in their own conversations than attending to my needs as a customer. As I expressed interest in a used vehicle, I was hurried through the process with little regard for ensuring my satisfaction or addressing any concerns I had. The paperwork was thrust in front of me without explanation or opportunity for verification. It was clear that the dealership's priority was closing the deal as quickly as possible, with no consideration for the customer's peace of mind. What's more, not once was I asked if I wanted any additional features or add-ons for the vehicle. It was as if my preferences didn't matter; all that mattered was getting me out the door with a signature on the dotted line. In hindsight, my experience with Chuck Colvin Ford in March 2024 was a cautionary tale of what happens when profit takes precedence over customer satisfaction. I would strongly advise anyone considering doing business with them to think twice and explore alternative options. the service department up sells , went in to have tires rotated got a call that the lug nuts where rounded and there the only one s to rotate and mount the wheels on our vehicle cost me extra 90.00$ for new lug nuts that they had destroyed i have bought 7 vehicles from them in the last 20 years , Never Again !
