Rip Off Service Dept. The service department is the worst one I have ever been too and very dishonest!!! I have owned Toyota's various models for over thirty years. I know The service department is the worst one I have ever been too and very dishonest!!! I have owned Toyota's various models for over thirty years. I know I needed new brake pads on the front and a muffler. I requested an appt. and was told first I had to bring in the vehicle for them too look at. I said I knew exactly what I needed but unless I complied they would not work on the vehicle. So I made an appt. I waited 90 minutes after my scheduled time before my vehicle even went into their garage. After looking at the vehicle they said I needed front and rear brakes and an entire new muffler system!!! Oh really?? Then they charge me $35.00 which they did not mention on the appt call, but it can be credited if you go thru with the repair. I decided to call other Toyota dealers in the area. None charged $35.00 to take a look. I ended up at Balise Toyota. They told me I only need front brake pads not the entire brake repair and that I only needed a new muffler. No other holes in the system!! So Langway Toyota tried to rip me off for hundreds of dollars !!! They tried to tell my daughter a year ago that she need new brakes after they had just installed them six months before!!! I see a pattern here. If there is a Mr Langway I suggest you cleanup your lying service dept. I did get my $35.00 back by complaining to the GM. However after looking in to my allegations he had his secretary call me to issue the credit, but no apology, no explanation. But then again there is no explanation. They tried to rip me off and my daughter. Steer clear of this Toyota Dealer!!! More

First accident in years So I was involved in an accident recently for the first time in years and honestly did not know what the process was going to be like, where to take m So I was involved in an accident recently for the first time in years and honestly did not know what the process was going to be like, where to take my vehicle or how I was going to get the money from the insurance company to pay for the repairs especially because I was rear ended and the accident was not my fault. I have been working in Newport for the past several months and thought I would try going by Langway Toyota instead of the dealership that I purchased my truck from because of the convenience of being a few minuets away. From the moment I walked into the collision center and spoke with Earl, my anxiety over the entire process was put at ease, the other drivers insurance company provided an estimate that I felt was ridiculously low and Earl assured me that he would take care of it for me and so once the team pulled my truck apart they found many other items needing repairs and the other insurance company issues a supplemental check and all repairs we completed within abort a weeks time. All and all I can say that Langway Toyota made this process as painless as it could be and my truck looks brand new again so thank you for all of your help. More

Not typical I have gone to this dealership several times, I purchased my car here and have always had great service. Yesterday I had a hitch installed on my 20 I have gone to this dealership several times, I purchased my car here and have always had great service. Yesterday I had a hitch installed on my 2016 RAV4 so I could mount my bike rack. My order came in when expected and I was told it would be a three hour wait and this matched what the parts department told me. When I dropped off the car I mentioned I wanted the Toyota cap for the hitch and that my HomeLink garage door program wasn’t working even though I followed the manual step by step. The service was completed ahead of schedule but he forgot to add the cap, which was important to me for some reason. Then my Toyota credit card, that had a zero balance, was declined. I have used it at this dealership before so I called Toyota credit. They said it was the terminal at the dealership and they have not installed the new update so I could not use the card at that location. I was upset, embarrassed, for having a declined card but Toyota could see the declines transaction so I was able to get the points and thankfully I had other cards I could use! Lastly, their comment on HomeLink was that it was already programmed. I know that l, I programmed it exactly as the instructions stated but it didn’t open my garage doors. They could have at least deleted the programs and used my opener, that was two inches from HomeLink, to reprogram it since they probably could have done that in a minute, at least we would have known if it was a HomeLink issue or a compatibility issue. The name of the garage door opener was on the control (again two inches from HomeLink) so they could have checked for me. In the past I have always received exelent service so this was not typical of my visits to this dealership. More
