They recommended services today that were supposed to be completed in 2021; the timing gear cover being a main issue. They didn’t do it properly the first time for 4k then decided to recommend it again for completed in 2021; the timing gear cover being a main issue. They didn’t do it properly the first time for 4k then decided to recommend it again for 5k. This is not an items that constantly needs to replaced but they told me that since the part is out of warranty too bad. I am taking this to another mechanic to see what was completed and then I am filing a case with the better business bureau. The even recommended in their quote to replace the timing belt even though the 2017 Toyota tundra doesn’t even have one. Every time I go to this place I get over charge and ripped off. More
On the Feb 20th (Monday) I made an appointment for service (5000 mile service), asked how long to do service- answer - 1 1/2 hours approximately. Dropped vehicle off on Feb 21st about 20-25 minutes p service (5000 mile service), asked how long to do service- answer - 1 1/2 hours approximately. Dropped vehicle off on Feb 21st about 20-25 minutes prior to appointment and came back in about 2 hours and 20 minutes to pickup vehicle. We checked with the person they told me to check with. They had not started to service my vehicle the reason given was that people that were staying for their service could have been advanced in front of my appointment. Talked to a person that looked like he was in charge. After a few words about appointments and walk-ins that stay for Service are put in front of people that make appointments I was told that that was incorrect. I was told that they would get to my service quickly and the car should be ready in 20 minutes. Going from my appointment will take an hour and a half to an explanation of walk-ins that wait for service are put in front of appointments then told that’s not true. Summarize- told service will take a hour and a half (when. Making appointment) to service will take 20 minutes is a odd response.. After 2 hours and 55 minutes we got the vehicle Companies should say what they do and do what they say. More
First jump out of the box, they sold the vehicle I had come in for the night before. Neglecting to tell the sales person. Then to make me feel better they leased me a new Tacoma at a higher payment than w come in for the night before. Neglecting to tell the sales person. Then to make me feel better they leased me a new Tacoma at a higher payment than what I was planning for. Then over a week later I get a call asking me to come into the dealership. I go and spend the next two hours sitting in the finance office to be told that THEY made a mistake when looking at my credit. They had the paperwork done for someone with tier one credit. But I don’t have that, so now I have to pay more a month. No apology, not one of the sales people I dealt with, and two more hours of my life wasted sitting in the dealership after a long day at work. And the whole time I was being treated as if i should be happy that I’m even getting a Tacoma, so take what we give you sort of thing felt like it was happening. I am glad that I can take my lease and get service at other dealerships. I would rather drive to Santa Fe if need be than to go back to that dealership ever again. More
