Let me ask you the following questions: Would you like to find a reliable facility the is timely and thorough for your car repairs? Are you seeking a department with good communication? Do you look for value and appreciation as a customer at dealerships? If so, this is not the place to bring your vehicle. I filed an insurance claim to have my wiring harness replaced and regretfully chose to have the repairs completed at this facility. The wiring harness took about 3 weeks to be complete, but this was only the beginning of the nightmare. Less than 5 minutes from driving the car off the lot, the check engine light ignited. Therefore, I turned back to the dealership immediately. The technician reset the code and I was told if the check engine light returns that I would need to purchase a new battery. This initially seemed off because that was not the reason why the car was taken in initially. Less than a day after the engine light goes on and I replace the battery. Within a day the engine light goes back on. I call the service department and spoke with the advisor,Jacob, his response "Well its not leaving you stranded is it?" Odd response to give to a customer. Anyway I take the car back in and am now told the car is signaling a different code which may have been missed on the initial list of repairs covered by the insurance. The advisor notifies us that the insurance will not cover the repair and we should try to call our insurance. We call our insurance agent and he expresses the new repair was denied because the dealership did not explain the repair correctly. Therefore, that leaves us to cover the repair which is quoted at about $500. It did not make a lot of sense that we took it in for one issue and ended up with new issues after the repair. So, we reach out to the manager, Rick, left 3 voicemails without 1 return call. We than attempt to reach out to the GM, but are told he is on vacation. I also called a customer service number given by the receptionist, but never received a phone call back. I finally reach out to the corporate office and receive an email and am referred back to Rick. After being ignored, we decide to pick up the vehicle and seek repairs elsewhere. Upon picking up the vehicle, we ask for Rick, the manager, one last time. After waiting about 10-15 minutes we are told he declines to talk to use since we reached out to corporate. On the invoice given to customer at the time of vehicle pick up it states, "It is important to us that you are completely satisfied with our work and how you were treated." Clearly they do not abide by their mission. More

I called the day of (today. ..new years eve) again they verified car was there and they didn't coat until 9pm. When I arrived at the dealer at 730 they were closed! A lot attendant informed me that they closed at 7pm. He looked up the appointment and called the advisor(Sebastian) that it was set with who was not very courteous over the phone and only placed the blame on someone else...not even a sorry. Well excuse me the appointment was set under YOUR name maybe you should have given a call saying you would not be there because the dealership was CLOSING! No one could even give a call or a number to a service manager for me to speak to. This was a horrible horrible horrible experience having driven over 2 hours expecting to be purchasing a near 50k vehicle only to be stood up for my appointment and lied to about what time they close and having to contact that they wouldn't be there to honor the appointment time! I will continue to let everyone know about this and not to go to Avondale Dodge...edit to add. ...it is now a week later. I called the very next day to speak with the general manager or the general service manager and left a message to please be contacted about my experience. I did not receive a call back from either...only one of the sales managers called to discuss. I told him of my experience and he was not very apologetic at all. He asked me if there was anything that could be done to still earn my business. Told him it would have to be a great deal in order for me to return to that place. He said to let him work on it and he would call me back with the numbers......well he NEVER called back and I still never heard from either the general manager nor the general sales manager. To bad for them....I went and purchased my vehicle from another dealer. I LOVE my new Charger Scat Pack and will refer everyone to the dealer I purchased from and make sure they steer clear of Larry Miller Avondale More
