New F150 <1000 miles driver door handle broke-2 weeks svc After many issues with dealer during purchase, found driver side door handle falling off, key fob will not lock truck unless pound door handle back in After many issues with dealer during purchase, found driver side door handle falling off, key fob will not lock truck unless pound door handle back into door. Called dealer, cannot service until after Christmas (2 weeks from now) and can take 2 days so need to get a rental for a door handle replacement. Offer to bring truck in and leave for 1-5 days or more and they would look if they had a cancellation but still need to rent a car for 1-5+ days. Service department said if driver side door handle stopped working to use passenger door and crawl over to driver side. Expect long time to get service appt and expect to get a rental car since a simple door handle replacement can take 2 days, reasonable assumption that can any service at this dealer can take 2+ days. More
