I don't normally write reviews, whether positive or negative, but the outstanding service I received at Genesis of Peoria completely earned it. I recently purchased a used 2017 Buick Encore from them because I loved the model, the price was right, and it had great fuel efficiency. My experience started with Aaron in sales, who was incredibly professional and never put any high-pressure tactics on me.About 18 days after the purchase, the check engine light came on and off a couple of times. I had it scanned at O'Reilly and it pulled a P1101 code. Since the light had popped up briefly once right when the car was delivered, I called the dealership. I got in touch with the Service Manager, Josh Wells. Josh didn't argue with me for a second; he immediately listened and gave me an appointment to bring it in.When I arrived, I was met by Mason Nguyen, the service supervisor. Mason treated me with the utmost respect, got me processed quickly, and immediately provided a loaner vehicle so I wouldn't be stranded. They kept my car for about four days, during which they actually sent it directly to GM to have the system reprogrammed because the computer kept reading bad solenoid codes. GM fully tested it, and the issue is completely resolved. Mason texted me when it was ready, handed me a full printout of the work done, and I was charged absolutely nothing. From the initial sale with Aaron to the post-purchase support from Josh and Mason, this dealership proved their professionalism and integrity. I am incredibly grateful and highly recommend them! First visit we worked with Adrianna to hone in on the right trim level for us. Very enjoyable experience. Next time we worked with Matt Oso to select a specific car. Short test drive went well. Ended u right trim level for us. Very enjoyable experience. Next time we worked with Matt Oso to select a specific car. Short test drive went well. Ended up completing a deal on the new car. When driving home with the new vehicle we noticed a vibration at higher speeds. Called Matt from the car and we brought it back in. They jumped right on it and ended up swapping out all 4 wheels pretty quickly. Test drive confirmed the fix. They took care of the issue for me, we’re committed to getting it right, did not blame me, and the car drives wonderfully as intended. More
