Definition of sleazy car sales I normally like to give good grades on surveys such as these. However, in this case I have to be completely honest with the entire experience of buying my car at Larry Miller Hyundai. First, Dakota Diaz is a very nice young man and with the exception of not showing me some of the features in my new car (i.e., working the navigation system, working the radio, etc.) he did an outstanding job! Unfortunately, I cannot say that about the other people I was forced to encounter during my sales experience. They would be Mike the Assistant Sales Manager and Jeff in Finance. I believe the other sales manager I talked with was Sean(?) He was very good to me! Mike, on the other hand, got right in my face when it was time for him to come in and "close" the deal for Dakota. It was very intimidating and extremely uncomfortable. I told him as much when he did it. Then later apologized for my actions. Yet, never received as much as a small acknowlegement regarding his horrific behavior. Then ther was Jeff, in Finance! All I can say is, "This guy put the S in slick." I asked him what I was getting for my trade in. He blew me off by muttering something about, "....it's all factored in..." Then he told me that Hyundai of America had picked u[p the financing. Turns out it is in fact "Vantage West Credit Union" He told me my rate would go down to 4.7% from 5.4% after I purchased the extra protection and warranty. Which I know he got a nice chunk of change in commission! But, the thing that really gnaws at me is that I never received my copy of the sales agreement, or purchase contract or any other paperwork associated with the purchase of this vehicle. I talked to Dakota about that a few days after the sale. He asked Jeff and Jeff told him he mailed it to me. Sir, I live about 6 miles from your dealership. I could have picked it up if Jeff gave a hoot about anything but the bottom line. Also, that was over a week ago, I have not received it yet. I feel that your sales/finance managers saw me as a "desperate case" when they saw my situation. I let these things go by at the time of the sale because, frankly, I was so beaten down by the process all I wanted to do was surrender. My impression is that that is EXACTLY what LMH wants! There are words and phrases on your wall like, "inegrity;" "honesty;" "customer satisfaction and care." etc. To me and my experience they are just words. I have left a message for Dakota to contact me. I will ask him to get me my documents from Jeff 1 more time. If I cannot get them I will contact Mr Trinkl. If necessary my next step will be to contact Hyundai of America, The Better Business Bureau and the Arizona State Attorney General. More

I went in super nervous, but . The guys were all super accommodating. I've had some terrible experiences with dealerships in the past, so going into this, I had some serious doubts. No matter how frustrated or nervous I got, I was never treated like just another sale. All of my questions were answered, my needs were more than met, and I was over all, completely satisfied with my experience. Jake and Dshon were a huge help!! Thanks guys!! More

Disappointing I purchased my car new in 07/2016. The AC just went out and I called the service department and spoke with Jason. He informed me that there is noth I purchased my car new in 07/2016. The AC just went out and I called the service department and spoke with Jason. He informed me that there is nothing he can do about my car until Monday if I drop it off all day. Also they would not be able to take a look at it till the afternoon since schedule is pretty full with the holiday coming up. I asked if anything more serious were to happen to my car on a Saturday after 4pm again would this still be the case he said yes. This is because there is no one left working in the service department till then. I asked for any other solutions like a rental car being provided or a way to get to work on Monday. Jason stated that I would have to wait till Monday and when I drop off my car they have a shuttle that can take me within 10 miles. Well my work is not within 10 miles so that does not help me. He did inform me that they do provide rentals only if parts need to be ordered and the car is there overnight. Then I asked if there was a manager or anyone else I could speak with and he gave me a customer service number 1-800-633-5151 which after 4pm on a Saturday is also closed. I have also tried the message option online and I am waiting to see if a manager actually contacts me. I understand that AC going out in my car is not the end of the world. However we do live in AZ and with temperatures of 110 and higher having no AC can be a health issue for children and pets. It is a bit unsettling that Hyundi has this "amazing " warranty but if anything goes wrong with my car after 4pm on Saturday there is no one that can help you until Monday. I will not be purchasing another vehicle from here nor will anyone I know. To let everyone know with Mazda they take care of you and provide a rental car even for oil changes. More
