My current Hyundai Santa Fe has 217,651 miles on it. I travel a great deal for business. It was purchased at Larry Miller Hyundai in Peoria in 2003. I received Mrika's name from a co-worker who purchased a new car recently, Jennifer Leslie. Jennifer appreciated Mrika's support an expertise and highly recommended her. I was looking at other make and model SUV's. I was feeling the "pull" to purchase another Hyundai based on my ten years of excellent service and support from service staff at Larry Miller Hyundai. Upon meeting Mrika, I knew I had made the right decision. She is well informed, attentive and actively listened to my wants, needs and desires. I surprised myself by choosing the Tucson over the Santa Fe; and am delighted with my choice. Ron, "The Negotiator"; was quite insistent - wanting a decision "today"; and very skilled in his role. I did not purchase this day, as I do not take these types of decisions lightly. I went home, crunched numbers - researched a bit more on the internet. Called Ron to advise he would have my answer the next morning. When I woke I knew I was going to purchase the 2015 Hyundai Tucson. I felt confident I was getting a fair price and that Mrika and Ron really were supporting my best interests. I contacted Mrika to advise I would be in a noon to close the transaction. One would think the experience would end here. Not so, enter Jeff (finance guru) - He has skills! With his knowledge and expertise we came up with the best financial package, suited for me personally. It did not stop there however, Jeff also provided me with the name and number of Justin at Liberty Mutual. More on that later.... Mrika spent the next 30 minutes going over all the Tucson's features, synching my smart phone with the Bluetooth. Walking me to the service center that I already was very familiar with. Her attention to details is no doubt the result of her hard work and dedication to her customers and Larry Miller Hyundai. I received a call from Justin at Liberty Mutual on Monday. With his support I was able to bundle my vehicle's and my home owners insurance, saving several hundred dollars. In closing, I would like to say that as a single female buyer; it means even more to know I can depend on my Hyundai Tucson and Larry Miller sales and service staff to keep me rolling safe and with peace of mind. My Tucson is my "travel for fun" vehicle. My goal is to reach 300,000 miles with my Santa Fe as my primary city transportation vehicle. No doubt in my mind that I am going to make it. This time was no exception despite the storm causing a power outage. As soon as power was returned, I was contacted and given a new time for pick up. The sincerity in the phone call made me feel no matter what the outcome, I would accept it. I was pleasantly surprised that though he apologized, this only delayed my car an additional hour outside the estimated time. Upon pickup, I was impressed with the facility but ultimately it is the friendly service that makes me LOVE taking my car there. More

Earlier in the day we had test drove cars at a different dealership and had a very unpleasant experience. Larry H. Stay away! My husband and I made the mistake of buying from this dealership. We are working professionals with a growing family (children ages 2 ½ and 1) who de My husband and I made the mistake of buying from this dealership. We are working professionals with a growing family (children ages 2 ½ and 1) who decided it was time for a larger yet economically sound vehicle. The sale of our new car went smooth and our sales man, Mike, despite being new was friendly and helpful. We signed the paperwork and were told by Mike that Hyundai would take care of our returned lease to our previous dealership. We handed over our keys (all sets) to our old car, Mike drove it to ensure it was working properly and we were on our way with our new vehicle. It wasn’t until two months later that we received notification that our previous lease was out of contract, we owed over $800 in payments, and the late payments had been reported to the credit agency (we had nearly perfect credit prior to this experience). We contacted Hyundai to learn that our previous leased car had been sitting on their lot for over two months without them having contacting the original dealership. I ultimately ended up speaking with two sales managers. Mario was helpful and understanding in the situation but Thad was a complete nightmare to work with. He was condescending, unsympathetic, and didn’t listen to my concerns. In fact, when I realized we weren’t getting anywhere on the phone I said that my husband would be in to speak with him in person. Thad was agreeable to the visit but when my husband showed up at the dealership, Thad refused to leave his office or even speak to my husband about the concern (the dealership was empty at the time of his visit). I will reiterate that he is a SALES MANAGER. After several days of trying to solve this problem between the two dealerships Hyundai stated that they would pay ½ of the accrued fees and did call the previous financial department to confirm we had left the car with their dealership two months prior (to hopefully help clear our credit—yet to be seen). This is very upsetting to me as Hyundai originally stated they would handle the return and the reason we had such a large charge was because the car sat on their lot for over two months! $400 (1/2 of the $800) to a large dealership is nothing but $400 to a working family with two small children is a huge financial hardship. Not to mention the damage to our nearly perfect credit. It was a learning experience for us as we now know that the Hyundai could not handle the return of our lease but when the sales agent tells you otherwise and you are spending a large sum of money; there is some level of customer service that is expected. We have never had an experience like this. I am rating the dealership two starts (versus 1) because I am giving Mike the benefit of being new at the dealership (turns out they shouldn’t have offered to return our lease) and because Mario was somewhat helpful in contacting our previous lender to try to help with our credit. I do strongly believe we should have been reimbursed the entire $800 versus just ½ and the extremely poor customer service by Thad is inexcusable. We will not be purchasing another vehicle from this dealership in the future and encourage you to think twice before you do as well. More
