I have had a harrowing experience with larry miller....First I took an internet quote for a new elantra GT. The internet manager Jason told I could get one for 18,800 inclusive of all taxes and miller....First I took an internet quote for a new elantra GT. The internet manager Jason told I could get one for 18,800 inclusive of all taxes and fees..I thought it was a good deal and went to them to buy the car.... There they revealed their true colors.....They plainly rejected that quote and gave me one that was way above what they had promised....I even pulled up the email from my phone and showed them and told it was sent none other than their manager! The sales guy Robert McGregor ( the most incompetent and uninformed sales person i have ever seen! ) tried hard to divert my attention from the email...But I was fixed on the email promise and asked him to honor that price....He kept vanishing inside to talk to his manager each time I wanted to negotiate....But he came out with no different deal...After a long six and half hour negotiation ( which could actually have been completed in one hour !) I yielded to them and agreed upon a price which was higher than the quoted price, though I felt ripped off.. The story doesnt end here...They told they have to get my car from some storage area and that they would get it only after signing the papers. That meant I should agree and sign the papers for a car which I had not even seen! These guys were trying to sell me a car which, in first place, they didnt have! How outrageous..... It was already 9.30PM and I went beyond my patience limit ,and SIGNED THE PAPERS......Then they told they will deliver the vehicle to me by noon, the next day.... Forget about noon, I dint get a call even by 2PM....I tried to call them only to speak to their voice mails....Come 2PM, 3PM and 4PM and now I had lost all my patience. I decided to cancel the deal and not buy a car. I left a voice mail indicating my decision. Immediately I got a call from the sales guy saying he will at my place to pick me up in 15 mins...How foolish was I to believe this !!!! I did believe this and said OK.... I completely broke down when they dint turn up even after 7PM.....I called them and yelled at them for wasting all my weekend and giving me such mental torture....Shamelessly the sales guy told that his car had broken in the middle of the highway ( I could hear other guys speaking in the office,,,how could that be on the highway) and that he would deliver the car in the morning..... I was not in a position to believe them anymore...I cancelled the deal and sent a strong email to their manager Danny Corrales....I was shocked at the way that man replied me...Totally unprofessional and rude.....It revealed the true cheap sales mind of that guy.... If you have a flair to do business with cheats and liars then Larry Miller Hyundai is for you....They never honor their promises and can go to any cheap extent to falsely bring in innocent buyers.... This was one of the nicest new car buying experiences I have ever had and a spring chicken I am not. First, let me say that I never thought I'd give a car dealership a great rating on a sales transaction. However, we were immediately impressed by Kenny Pugh, our salesman. He took the time to find out what we were looking for and why, and did not try to up-sell us to a more expensive model than what we were looking at. The test drive was fine, and he was clearly knowledgeable about the products his dealership carries. So we decided to buy. The negotiation process went as expected and, after some haggling that was not excessive, they met our bottom line price. As we were going through the final paperwork process, Kenny appropriately asked us to consider him for our business in the event that we would be looking for a replacement for our other vehicle. On a whim, we asked what they had available that might fit our parameters. He showed us a recent trade-in that we immediately liked a lot. So it turned out that we ended up buying two cars from the dealership that day. And I'd have to say that the sole reason we did so was simply because of the excellence of our salesperson, Kenny Pugh! By the way, in case you are wondering, we had never met him before our encounter that day, nor did we have any other knowledge of him. We had already shopped several other dealerships and had kept looking due to factors related to either the products we were considering or the salespeople we were dealing with. Hopefully that let's you know that this rating is entirely legitimate. Based on our interactions with him, I would have absolutely no qualms about recommending Kenny as a salesperson. He reflected very well on Larry Miller Hyundai! More
