When I arrive there I had to wait 10 minutes in the service line, that wasn't the problem. After 10 minutes of waiting, another car pulled up behind me. I was told that for a routine oil change and 2 recalls, they would need my Santa Fe for a day. Nearing the end of the first day, I phoned to ask what was the status. Twice I had to leave messages, but my a they would need my Santa Fe for a day. Nearing the end of the first day, I phoned to ask what was the status. Twice I had to leave messages, but my advisor finally answered on the third call. She said one of the recall repairs was more complicated than they expected and they'd need to keep my car for another day. There was no offer of loaner car or free rental car. The following day I called again a few times in the afternoon and had to leave messages. My advisor was not reaching out to me for updates or any explanation as to what was going on. Frustrated and without transportation, I phoned the Service Manager, Mike. He apologized for the lack of communication and said they'd still need my car for another day. When I asked for a loaner to be delivered, Mike said they just don't have anything to offer me. I truly felt that there was something shady they weren't saying or that they broke something and needed to wait for parts to replace it. Why not tell me the whole story instead of keeping me in the dark!! On the third day I waited until noon to have to phone them again because of no communication and remaining without transportation. Finally I was told that service was completed and the car was ready. Luckily, I got someone to volunteer to drive me over to pick it up. However, my service advisor was "unavailable" and a different advisor handed me the paperwork to sign. That advisor couldn't offer any explanation as to what was the cause for lengthy delay and what was going on for 2-1/1 days that nobody was communicating to me -- or why no courtesy car or free rental car was offered at all. Not exactly happy! More
This was my cars first sevice and the experience exceeded my expectations. When I arrived there were lines on the service drive. I parked my car and walked up to the service desk, Kevin was busy with a clien my expectations. When I arrived there were lines on the service drive. I parked my car and walked up to the service desk, Kevin was busy with a client, I made contact with one of the service advisors in the office and the sent me to Kevin. He greeted me and took the information, contacted a driver to take me home and they arrived within minutes. my car was ready within 2.5 hours and a driver was sent to pick me up. Everyone was friendly, my car was nice and clean. Even though Kevin was very busy he stayed calm and friendly....outside in the heat. This is the second time I have been to the dealership and the staff has treated me with great service. More
