Poor Customer Service Left Me Feeling Victimized I spoke with a sales person about purchasing a vehicle that I saw online. I informed the sales person that I was calling from out of state and only ne I spoke with a sales person about purchasing a vehicle that I saw online. I informed the sales person that I was calling from out of state and only needed some updated pics sent to me, a car fax, and a buyers order for my credit union so a check can be processed and I could pick up the car the next day. I told the sales person that I would give him contact info for my credit union to have info sent to them directly. The sales person was new and said he needed assistance from a sales manager. The sales manager was rude, unprofessional, lacked basic customer service skills, and obviously didn't want to help this new sales person sell a car. He tells me I have to give a deposit in order to have a buyers order sent to my credit union and receive a car fax. He also tells me that if I can't give a deposit in advance, I couldn't buy a car from the dealership. I was strongly concerned about a sales manager demanding that I give money in advance in order to receive the basic information necessary to purchase a car from this dealership. I was even more concerned by the sales manager toxic attitude and possibly unethical behavior. I am still overwhelmed by his behavior. More
Servicing Vehicle I was treated so poorly the past several times I have been to Laura Buick by the same service manager, Kevin Essington. The first time I went in for I was treated so poorly the past several times I have been to Laura Buick by the same service manager, Kevin Essington. The first time I went in for the issue, I was told that the part that they would need to replace needed to be changed at every 20, 000 miles. I was at 15,000 and didn't agree that it should be changed but had them change it. about 2 months later the same issue began to happen again and I brought it in again and was told that it needed replaced at every 10,000 by the service manager. I decided to reach out to GMC customer service and they said that it should be replaced at every 22,500 and there should be no reason it should be replaced again (this is also the same mileage list in the owners manual for part replacement) . While on the phone with the service manager, Kevin Essington, expressing that this was not the issue, He yelled at me and said to let him speak, and got an attitude with me when I disagreed . I also feel like I was taken advantage of me because I am a woman and from talking to GMC and their response truly makes be believe I was. This is not the first time that this has happened with this same service manager. When I was in for the same issue before, he disrespected me almost the exact same way he did this time along with treating my boyfriend disrespectfully as well and yelling at him for disagreeing with the replacement of the part. I feel like the sale of the car was an awesome experience but the service department has been nothing but a headache to deal with. More
