I have had many friends purchase vehicles from Laura Buick GMC without issue and the Service Department used to be fantastic. I'm not sure what has happened to the Service Department but I have had my t Buick GMC without issue and the Service Department used to be fantastic. I'm not sure what has happened to the Service Department but I have had my truck there for service 3 times over the past several months and have had to make appointments 3 to 4 weeks in advance. I would drop off my truck the night before expecting they would work on it the day of the scheduled appointment. All three times they could not get to my vehicle until days later. This last time I was so frustrated with the run around and was told that my service advisor had left for the day so I went to pick up my truck and take it elsewhere. When I arrived, my service advisor was there alright, just dodging the call. I cannot recommend Laura Buick GMC for service however I can recommend Cardinal Buick GMC. They were able to take my truck in and fix it the same day with no appointment or excuses! More
This is my second purchase of an $80,000. 00 GMC AT4 truck from Laura Buick-GMC. First in 2001 was 2500 HD AT4 and last month 2022 GMC 1500 AT4X. I worked with Justin who was exceptional as 00 GMC AT4 truck from Laura Buick-GMC. First in 2001 was 2500 HD AT4 and last month 2022 GMC 1500 AT4X. I worked with Justin who was exceptional as usual, putting a deposit in November 2021 and delivery in July 2022 with all a great build. Only issue is I fly to St. Lewis from out of state and confirm my flight times and courtesy pick up time the day before and day of delivery. Even with a text the while at the airport confirming time and flight but when I arrived there was no driver. I waited over half an hour and called/texted Justin and his colleague and discovered after 45 minutes the driver had not been notified and had not left the dealership until over an hour waiting at the airport. It took another 40 minutes to arrive. I was on a strict schedule and wasted nearly two (2) hours at the airport which pushed back my delivery/paperwork time at the dealership. Thankfully, the truck was ready and the finance office was ready, fast and professional. I asked the manager to see if they could throw in seat covers or include a substantial discount to account for a good customer's time wasted. I was told by Justin they would see what they could do. I felt this was not a big ask to keep a second time customer purchasing two $80,000 trucks. To date, I still have not heard from anyone. More
So my wife and I bought a used 2017 impala from Laura Buick Gmc in Collinsville and the sales experience fo2r the most part was good couple of complaints 1 bumper was damaged a little and they would not Buick Gmc in Collinsville and the sales experience fo2r the most part was good couple of complaints 1 bumper was damaged a little and they would not compensate on price. But didn't really bother us because of miles were so low,we purchased a thing called premier finish and was completely miss led we has to schedule for it to be done so we did we were told that it had already been done which since we purchased it it had not been long story short sales guy starts lying through his teeth about it,so sales mngr. Gets involved and starts the salesmen B.S. and just handling me I do my own investigation into the treatment process to find out that what they were telling me was not at all true, also in the meantime my vehicle came without a manual I've called 5 times to ask for it still haven't received it ,huh!!! Back to it so I've asked for my money back on the treatment I paid $900.00 for now I can't get anyone to return my calls or call me so I'm probably getting my finance co involved and a lawyer and I'm doing reviews every chance I get I would not ever recommend them to anyone period. User's recommendation: Stear clear and if you do shop with them get everything in writing.11/2/2022 update I reached out to GM customer service and filed a complaint with them about this whole situation and was told it's between me and the dealership and I asked so with the dealer being a direct affiliated with GM they are not taking a stance on this and I was told no they would not its between me and dealership.WOW I guess it's lawyer time unbelievable the sad day and age we live in. Regarding an airbag recall work invoice - The service department destroyed the dash in my truck and pretty much said have a nice day, we’re not responsible for any damage to the dash during airbag recall department destroyed the dash in my truck and pretty much said have a nice day, we’re not responsible for any damage to the dash during airbag recall work. The manufacture is well aware that the inferior model car plastic that the dash is made of on a $55,000 truck is not made to last over 3 years or any future maintenance without breaking or cracking and no plan other than change the airbag and leave the dash in pieces and not be responsible. What does this say about GMC’s “professional grade”? So every time I get in my truck I’m reminded of the day I took my truck to Laura Buick to get what should have been a simple part change. All good for the dealership you made money installing the airbag and know it will cost me around a $2,000 to get a new dash. So no I’m not happy and will not be any time I drive my GMC truck that rattle’s. Plus I’m ashamed to face the people that I’ve referred to your dealership that also purchased vehicles and pray they don’t get a recall or need any kind of repair work Laura Buicks incompetent team does. The manufacturer should be responsible to replace the dash on the vehicles since they used inferior material and didn’t do the recall for 6 years or so which allowed the dash in my truck to deteriorate to the point it was already getting brittle and cracking. I have taken very good care of my truck (for 12 years 78,000 miles) and it is in excellent condition other than the now demolished dash. If GMC decides to not right this for me I will not purchase vehicles from them in the future. I have purchased two from Laura Buick and referred family and friends there. I will make sure to share my experience and dissatisfaction from Laura Buick/GMC with any and everyone possible in the future. So it’s up to the manufacturer to change the outcome of my experience and satisfaction. (And who knows how many more.) Mark Townzen More
Was told after providing my drivers license and preferring to not provide my phone number to test drive a vehicle that, “you are at the wrong GMC dealership if you think we don’t need some informat preferring to not provide my phone number to test drive a vehicle that, “you are at the wrong GMC dealership if you think we don’t need some information from you”. He continued to boast that the GMC dealership was number one in sales. In return I stated, "I agree, I am at the wrong GMC dealership and left. I will not return to this GMC ever for anything. More
