I had been to a couple of other dealers - Kelly and Herb Chambers - and was treated like I didn't matter. At Herb they kept trying to sell me a 2010 model even though I repeatdly told them I wanted a 2011. Chambers - and was treated like I didn't matter. At Herb they kept trying to sell me a 2010 model even though I repeatdly told them I wanted a 2011. They weren't interested in meeting my needs or listening to me, they just wanted the sale. When I walked into Lawless it was a completely different experience. I really felt like they weren't trying to take advantage of a 28 year old female who might not know everything there is to car buying. Tom was my first salesman, he was so nice, down to earth, and it was clear from the get go that he had been doing this for a long time and at his age, it wasn't about the money anymore. He truely enjoyed his job. Jerry came into the picture next to help with financing and they didn't try to screw around with me. They wanted to meet me halfway which I found other dealerships didn't want to do. I felt like I was treated like I should have been treated, like a customer who should be happy with the car buying process. Buying a car shouldn't be stressful - for the amount of money one spends on a buying a car it should be an enjoyable experience. Tom and Jerry made this such a memorable and positive experience. I even have my car serviced even though I live in Winthrop. Tom and Jerry talked up their serice department - something that the other dealerships didn't do. Herb Chambers told me, "if you want to continue to go to your mechanic in town, do it, why come here?" The service department IS part of the package! When it came down to it I believed Tom and Jerry and everything they mentioned about their service department and I'm glad I did, because whenever I go there now, I feel at ease. Getting your car fixed or an oil change, it's not stressful, they are understanding and treat you like you should be treated. They are not out to scam you or take advantage of you. They truely mean well. Now and forever I will be a Lawless customer. More

I first went to get a lesser model but drove away that day with a 1 year old Liberty with 3000 miles on it at a very good price I could not walk away from. I feel I was treated fairly, honestly and with courtesy the whole time. They made the chore of buying a new vehicle was a pleasure! More

I went into Lawless looking for a trade or a buyout of my '08 Ram. Phil greeted me with a smile and a great attitude. I not only got equity in my truck but I walked out with a monthly payment significantly lower than what I was hoping. There was no pressure of going above my price range and he listened and understood my needs. At the time of pick up, he went through all of the options to make sure I understood how everything worked. I'll be back in a couple of years to get that truck back. More
