Conscientious Sales and Staff I was on the hunt for an (elusive) Red Kia Soul +, model year 2014 or 2015, knew the exact amount I wanted to spend, the options I wanted and the rang I was on the hunt for an (elusive) Red Kia Soul +, model year 2014 or 2015, knew the exact amount I wanted to spend, the options I wanted and the range of mileage I was willing to accept...in other words...I was a pain in the butt. Chris Schmidt went above and beyond...tracking down my dream car and sending someone to auction to purchase it, keeping me updated throughout the process. The car was in pristine condition, with very low miles, and came in just over my budget. I sent Chris an email letting him know that I didn't want to waste their time or get my hopes up, so I'd decided not to make the trip to Lawrence. Chris reassured me that they would work with me. Despite past negative experiences with car buying, I headed to Lawrence. The place was hopping when I arrived and Chris was working with another couple, but took the time to greet me, pull the Soul around front and introduce me to Chris Follas, who arranged to have another salesman start my paperwork. When Chris Schmidt finished with his other clients, he walked me through all of the details, answering my MANY questions. True to his word, Chris and Chris worked with my budget and I was able to purchase my (new to me) Soul +. I am a very happy camper and will recommend Lawrence Kia to anyone who will listen!! More

But they took everything that I wanted and found a car that had great bonuses and a 5 star CarFax. They quoted me a price that was just dollars above where I wanted to be. But I was still concerned until the deal was done by Mike. They were in communication throughout the whole process and the day of addressed every concern. I searched for other options all the way to the night before just because I had nothing in writing confirming price and was afraid of all the normal used buying car consumer can be afraid of. But after working with this team I can say next time I need a car I am making one call and not even going to worry about shopping around. Overall a good experience with a few little bumps Positives--Braden Erickson was very friendly to deal with. Facility is clean. Car was detailed and pretty to take home. Process was relatively smooth. Staff were respectful. Car is great so far. Braden took the time to connect my phone to the Bluetooth which was very considerate. I felt well taken care of. Negatives--Took too long. I would have appreciated the financing explained earlier in the process. After three hours, I was too worn down and didn't fully understand what was being sold to me. Could have had more gas in the car I left with, had to immediately fill up. Overall--more positives than negatives and definitely a FAR better experience than many I have had More
