Ken was very polite and courteous, but seemed like the nervous type and that was a red flag for me. My credit rating is in the 600's so I thought my chances were pretty good on getting a deal done, though I did owe more on the loan than the car was worth, I thought putting $3000 down would grease the wheels so to speak. I got a call from Ken the salesman the next day, telling me there was nothing they could do to help me. I never got the impression from the minute I walked into the dealership that they were really interested in selling me a new car, wierd huh? But I gave them the benefit of the doubt, unfortunately my instincts were right. That's ok though, the following week I went to Briggs Kia in Topeka with the same deal as I presented to Lawrence Kia, and got more money for my trade, and drove away with my new 2016 Kia Forte EX with all the bells and whistles. I've bought 2 other vehicles from Briggs Kia in the past, but wanted to see if the grass was greener at Lawrence Kia. News Flash: It wasn't, lol. More

Helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a Kia Soul but then was unsure because I had heard they didn't have the get up and go and that there was road noise. I worked with Ken and h I wanted a Kia Soul but then was unsure because I had heard they didn't have the get up and go and that there was road noise. I worked with Ken and he explained there were 2 types of motors and I needed the 2.0 and I steered clear of the 18" wheels. I drove off the lot in my new 2016 Kia Soul and I love it! It has everything I wanted and more. If it hadn't been for Ken, I probably would still be in my older car today. More

Fun and successful, all rolled into one visit. Erika Campbell coordinated our visit to the showroom and our test drive. We ended up purchasing a 2016 'used' Kia Sorento-the one that we had spotted on the Internet. Erika was professional, well-organized, and fun at the same time. We recommend her to others and will visit her again whenever anyone in our family has an interest in a Kia. The Insurance- and Finance/Warranty-guys were also helpful, presenting their offerings and letting us decide without undue pressure. A positive experience. Low point of the afternoon: having to 'bang the sales-gong' to signify to the ENTIRE WORLD that I'd just purchased a vehicle. It was so loud my daughter in Overland Park claims to have heard it and almost called Homeland Security. We laughed about it during and afterwards so how bad could it really have been?" More

We were unable to leave in our new vehicle due to it being a new inventory, and needed cleaned, checked and inspected before we were able to drive away with it. In an ideal situation that would have been completed the NEXT business day (our sale was on a Saturday), but it was not. Then on Tuesday when I was no less than promised it would be complete by 1 pm, I drove back only to sit and wait while road conditions were rapidly deteriorating. The van was running on fumes so I HAD to ask for gas, didn't even get a full tank of gas, but the $20 I did get was sufficient. Then I had no plates, another employee sought out the wrong ones, and told me to sit tight in the warm van (its not always fun to lug around a 10 month old and 2 year old) for 10 minutes, however I walked back in 25 minutes later. I was greeted by another employee stating "Oh we thought you drove off" Now WHY would I drive away with no plate or 60 day tag on the vehicle?! So, a 3rd employee came out and put on 60 day tags, and told me that when my plates were found they would be mailed to me... why would you offer to mail them versus calling your client? The next day, I received a call from Nick asking how everything went. I told him about the frustrations, he was able to find and hold onto my plates until I could manage to get back to the dealership. On on the very next day I remembered I left my CD's in van, and Nick happily tracked those down for me and kept them safe. If my experience were only based solely on Nick, this place would get many recommendations from me, but unfortunately, the winter storm situation leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. However, Nick will get my recommendation, as he is what I think a dealership is, trustworthy and honest. More

Everyone that we dealt with was very polite and helped us in every way that they could. They were very thorough and have continued to check-in with how the process is going and how I'm liking my new Kia Sportage. Definitely the best experience at a dealership I had through the whole process of finding a new car! More

But the overall experience was good, mainly because of Mike Robeson. More
