Unanticipated Costs and Inconvenience Due to Negligence We had a nice experience buying our Kia from former salesman Trevor but have had a very difficult time with them since the initial purchase. We bought our car days before moving to another state and informed every representative with whom we spoke about this but, unfortunately, no one filled out the paperwork appropriately to reflect this. Additionally, our title was misplaced and did not arrive until the time that the temporary tags expired. Due to the missing paperwork and the title arriving so late, we are unable to register it in our new state and now have to drive back to Kansas with expired tags to register the car and face late registration fees (in addition to the much higher sales tax in Kansas than that in the state we intended to register the car). Despite the fact that these inconveniences are due to negligence on the part of Lawrence Kia, the representative with whom we spoke was rather unapologetic and unaccommodating. We are quite frustrated and disappointed with our overall experience here. More
