Horrible Experience!! Don't buy used from them!! I recently purchased a used car from this dealership and will never buy from them again!! I previously bought a Kia from the Shawnee location and had I recently purchased a used car from this dealership and will never buy from them again!! I previously bought a Kia from the Shawnee location and had a great experience. I expected the same kind of outstanding service from the Lawrence Kia dealership and I am beyond disappointed. The car we were interested in was advertised with a free lifetime warranty, wrong color to the car, and that there was a hitch. They apologized for the false advertising and did agree to add the hitch to our purchase. I was told this would take 2 business days but it took them over a week to have it ready. They could not figure out how to install it correctly themselves and needed to take the car to VW to get it installed. They told me the day it was getting fixed that it would be ready in one hour. I then sent my wife out to pick up the car and she waited for literally 5 hours!!! After we finally left with our purchase, the next day the check engine light comes on. So I take the car to the VW shop to get it checked and sure enough the turbo needs to be replaced. I left the car at VW and contacted Kia to get this straightened out and was first told that my car was not covered (though I was told I had a 30 day warranty to start with). I checked with my attorney and by KS law, there must be a warranty. I spoke to 4 people that day who kept telling me the correct manager would call me that day to get it resolved. 5pm comes and still no communication after a lot of run around. I get a service guy on the phone and he tells me the manager that is suppose to contact me doesn't even work that day. TONS of bad communication and lies happening with nobody giving me a straight answer. I'm on day 7 without a car (it's sitting at VW) and still have not heard from the correct manager. This Kia location is just bad business. - Thank you for your horrible service and for not trying to make things right. More

Our salesman, Stone, who we had connected with earlier in the week by phone, met us promptly at the door and had a tag in hand for a test drive. We drove two different models and both drove beautifully. Easy to say after a quick negotiation and trade in, they made us a great offer and now we're proud owners of a 2015 SX Turbo Kia Optima. Great experience and highly recommend this dealership. More

Stone was the first person I met, and I certainly had my guard up. However, it didn't take long for me to get comfortable with him, as well as the other staff that were there. At some point, he realized it was my birthday. He left to go talk to someone in the Finance area, and he came back with a cupcake (from something they had going on), and one of the other guys there, and they sang Happy Birthday to me! How cool is that?!? I spent the rest of my time there just hanging out with a couple of the other salesman and joking around. That brings me to Begi, the Finance Manager. I want a real-life friendship with her. Of course, I was excited that she was able to work out an amazing deal for me, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. She was actually fun to work with - it didn't hurt that she was hilarious. The most important thing you should know, as a buyer, is that she is very real, along with Stone. That was exactly what I needed, especially after all of my negative experiences with other dealerships. They didn't make me feel like "just another customer," which was, and is, important to me. I can honestly say that I will only deal with them in the future. If you're smart, you will too. More

I return ed the next day to buy and asked if it was fixed and she said yes, so I took it and two weeks later it wouldn't'nt cool at all, so I drove the 80 miles to the dealer to check it out and they said it was working ok at the time. Four days later on our way to South Dakota it completely quit, I called and they could not do anything so I went to another dealer who pulled it in and they said it was out of Freon!!!!! They charged me two hundred bucks for what should have been discovered upon inspection at Lawrence. I called them and finally got the manager on the phone who said it should have been taken care of. If it had not been for Sam R. Nobody would have cared. More

Stress Free When we arrived at the lot the sales person came out with a smile on his face and was willing to hear what we has to say. Without telling him in a check list form he heard what I like and did not like from general conversation. I would absolutely recommend Lawrence KIA to anyone I know looking for a new or uses vehicle.
