I went in and asked for a statement that says that they were denying my engine claim. They gave me a very gray area statement in which they did not say the things that they said to my face. The statement s were denying my engine claim. They gave me a very gray area statement in which they did not say the things that they said to my face. The statement said the 'customer requested this statement although the car is not currently at the dealership (since I drove my other vehicle) blah blah blah. However to my face they were very clear that there's nothing I can do about it my claim has been denied. Also when I asked for a printout of all specific codes that popped up the only thing that was on my printout was the p0017 code. However when I had my car codes checked at AutoZone the p0019 code also popped up. P0017 code does indicate a claim denial due to insufficient oil but those two codes together indicate a potential engine failure directly related to the recall. I feel as though they specifically left out the p0019 code deceptively so they could deny their potential accountability. More
