ZERO STARS is appropriate, read their SALES REVIEWS! ! THEY DO NOT CARE!! McCarthy Auto sold my Husband a 2021 Dodge Hellcat VIN 2C3CDXL98MH669188 online. The very NEXT day he decided against the purc ! THEY DO NOT CARE!! McCarthy Auto sold my Husband a 2021 Dodge Hellcat VIN 2C3CDXL98MH669188 online. The very NEXT day he decided against the purchase due to noises, rattles and overall quality of the car wasn’t a $70K car, but told it could NOT be returned. At 31 days, they agreed to repurchase the vehicle for $7K less than was paid 30 days prior! Additionally, we had to pay sales tax on a title not signed! To gloat the Gen Sales Mgr, Tyler Gray said, “We gave you the money to pay the sales tax, so it wasn’t money out of my pocket!” It cost us plenty! We lost all equity from our 2019 Camaro with 21K miles we owned since NEW! Sad part our trade in was nicer than their 2021 used car with 12K miles! They took our refund of $6K + in warranties, maintenance, and GAP insurance in the repurchase. We felt we had to sell them the car, verses somewhere else because of the refunds on the maintenance & insurances policies, we felt stuck. Then, we notified them $700 less was paid on the trade toward the loan balance pay off than was written in the agreement, first they ignored us. When I brought it to the General Mgr Tyler’s attention it was ignored. My husband called and was told, “that was figured into the repurchase amount” how, when it wasn’t pointed out until AFTER the agreement was reached! They paid what we owed to the lienholder, not what was stated on the trade paperwork! They pocketed $700 for themselves instead of the lienholder refunding it to us! We returned the car on the 32nd day, paid the sales tax and had to give them an $2,500 additional in a Cashier’s check. In total we lost $20K in equity, dealer fees, maintenance and GAP contract cancellations, sales tax ($7K because we didn’t buy anything else) and greed of the dealer! In the end, this was the WORST EXPERIENCE CUSTOMER SERVICE we’ve ever had! There is ZERO empathy. They are in the business to GET YOUR money!! Then it's, “So what, too bad!” and literally laughed! I hope they can sleep at night! This is the worse dealership experience we have EVER encountered! I would NOT recommend doing business with this dealership! If you do Caveat Emptor, BUYER BEWARE !! Service dept has given us the run around since we bought our truck, things needed to be ordered I get that but to call up there for service that does not require back ordered parts and not get any response, our truck, things needed to be ordered I get that but to call up there for service that does not require back ordered parts and not get any response, or sit on hold till you are pushed to someone's voice-mail to not have that person call you back. Our original tech must be super busy because I have never talked to him and he won't call back. The service manager had us come up there for service and didn't even make sure there was a diesel tech there. I mean xxx! Never buying anything from this place again! I would've left zero stars but that is not an option.*****UPDATE*** As of 02/26/24 Another dealership looked up the part we have been waiting for (Back ordered) and found 5 in their warehouse!!!! Called again and NOBODY Calls back!!! Roquee (Rokee, first service advisor that never called back), Dustin the Service Dept. manager, Lindsey Service manager, If you call their number there is an option to leave the GM a voicemail but guess what that goes to Tyler in sales VM. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!! More
BUYERS BEWARE! !!!! Went in to look at a 2023 ram bighorn. Online price after discounts was 52K. They offer me payoff on my trade in. (1st insult). Then, they add !!!! Then, they add the payoff into the price of their Ram, which brought the price up to 57K. I have never seen such a shady business practice. I’ve bought 7 vehicles in my life and I’ve never seen this happen. I will never step back into a McCarthy dealership again. More
Do not recommend this dealership at all, especially because the service department is joke. I had to bring my vehicle in for a 7 am appointment scheduled 9 days out ‘cause that’s all they had available because the service department is joke. Told they don’t do that here. But did mention a shuttle I could use. So I inform them I needed to leave by 815 PM make my 9 o’clock meeting. 810 rolls around and shuttle driver is ‘out and should be back soon’. So I try to be as patient as possible asking a couple times if there was an eta.. but at 845, they must have just been annoyed and gave my truck back and said they’d ‘need more time to diagnose what was wrong’. xxxx of a place! Extended ‘warranty’ is not worth it at all either. Don’t waste your time or money at this place More
If only I could have chosen zero stars. I purchased a used truck and have had nothing but issues with it. Now I have made arrangements to bring my truck BACK up there with some brand new issues and now the service tech will not be there on the day I am bringing it up and now I have to reschedule AGAIN!!!! At what point does this truck become part of the Lemon Law? WILL NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER THING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP period! More
