My experience begins in Fredericksburg Virginia north of Richmond.(Dec. 2013) I located an F150 on cars.com at Leith Ford in Wendell, NC. I called a little bit before the store opened on Saturday morning and to my delight I spoke with the young lady in customer service whom I would also thank for her service to our country as she served in our Great United States Navy. She graciously connected me to Jose Rodriguez Sales Consultant. I explained my interest in the truck and that I would be arriving around noon to have a look at it. When we arrived everyone was very welcoming knowing that we had just drove from Va. as we met the Service Manager and Jose who showed the truck. After our test drive we sat down with Jose for a pleasant, simple, no pressure, super smooth transaction, to include financing to everyone's satisfaction. The entire event took a little over 2 hours and I have spent a half day just haggling at other dealerships. Jose has a Great work ethic and truly treats his customers with great respect just as he himself would want to be treated. He has great values and takes great pleasure making sure the customer is happy. The truck exceeded my expectations and I am thrilled to have it home as we left the 60 degree weather for the polar vortex of 6 degrees in Va. the truck has performed superbly. Jose later sent me a note saying quote: "I want to thank you for your confidence in the dealership and myself." I would say to that, Thank You for the best car buying experience I've ever had. I will and already have told everyone to shop at Leith Ford of Wendall as their entire team is Super Sonic Great in my book. Sherry in finance found us several discounts and rebates that we didn't know were available that saved us several thousand off even after we agreed on a price. They certainy know how to treat their customers! We had been to several other Ford Dealerships and we very dissappointed in their lack of customer service, making us wait hours just to get us a price. Jonny was knowledgeable about the features available on each vehicle as well as the maintenance services offered at Leith’s Service Center. I was impressed with Jonny’s honesty and integrity. He was attentive and worked with me to understand my goal to put me in a vehicle that suited my needs and budget. There was no pressure. In fact, I worked with Jonny for several months looking for just the right vehicle. During that time, he kept me informed with the current inventory on their lot and any incentive and rebates offered by Ford and Leith. On the day of purchase, I did not feel rushed when it came time to discuss numbers. I got the car I wanted at a fair price and I am very pleased with the car, so far. Jonny followed up with me a week later to ensure that I was happy with my new car. He even took time to answer a technical question I’ve had the vehicle since the purchase.
