One week after the purchase of my new car, I returned to the dealership to have the "we owe" item and Simoniz detailing performed. I arrived at the agree upon time and the service advisor did not have me l the dealership to have the "we owe" item and Simoniz detailing performed. I arrived at the agree upon time and the service advisor did not have me listed in the computer system as having an appointment. She did, however, work me in so that the "we owe" item could be installed. The detail crew also did not know that I was waiting for the work to be done to my car. They apparently were going to do the same thing - work me in to get the work done. The detailing work is a two hour procedure that I had already planned the time for in my day. Needless to say, that part had to be rescheduled for a time that I could bring the car back. I was not happy at all that the service department did not know that I was coming in to have the "we owe" item installed. Someone did not follow through with what should have been done to make the purchaser of a new car feel that the dealership values them as a customer. I appreciate what they did to accommodate the installation of the "we owe" item, but was very disappointed in the entire experience. What should have taken about 2-2.5 hours for both the installation and detail work took nearly 2 hours for the installation only. I certainly hope that the detail work will take place as promised this second time around. More
